Hey I live in Canada as well, crazy winters and cold! So with that being said, do you take the pool down at the end of the season? I heard that ypu left the liner out for a winter, how did it hold up? Regrets? And what would you suggest, leave it or take it down? Thanks.
Serge, I live in Fredericton and bought a similar 16 foot pool from Canadian tire. I was wondering about leaving it up in the Winter, yours seemed to survive the winter well. My problem was everyone I saw on RUclips who left it up for the "winter" lived in Florida or something. Thanks for the video!
Hey Serge, I recently just bought the same pool but it's white. Are you sure it's ok to keep up in the winter? I'm also in Canada 🇨🇦 Toronto actually & it gets really cold here as you know. Did you leave water in it for the winter or did you drain it?
Hello I have an old Summers escape pool and we are using an Intex Salt water pump. Do you or does anybody know if you can Connect or convert the sand pump to hook up to that?
I just got a summerwaves pool , last 2 seasons i had an intex. Question for you. Whats your opinion on the pump that came with it ? I see a lot of videos of people who upgraded to a sand filter. I don't want to if i don't have to.
Yea upgrade to sand filter Jason... You will save a lot money on the filter itself, the stuff you put in the pump... Them filter prices gone up... $30 for 2 filter... they are out of their mind. lol... Sand filter will last you years before you have to change out the sand.
We never ever took our pool down. It sits outside in the element. Besides, they say the more you keep moving the pool liner (taking down and putting it back up) the more chance you have of DAMAGING the POOL LINER and thus causing leak(s). The only downside is that water is going to go bad (algae will grow in the water) even in cold weather.
Now why would ask something like that... lol... If people are in the pool to COOL OFF, then it is DEFINITELY HOT OUTSIDE. Why would want to WARM UP THE POOL if it is already HOT HOT HOT OUTSIDE? lol...
@@1USAUSA because I live in Canada and we only get 3 months of warm weather.. that is not enough time for our water to warm up from the winter nor is hot enough here to be swimming in 60F water :)
What vacuum de you have ?
Came wit the vacume
It looks awesome! Thanks for sharing.
merci Serge! The prices are really going up because of COVID. Just bought one and this will help.
Same the pool was 400!
Make sure your ground is very level string line it or use a grade laser . Also put patio bricks under the legs
Where did you get the pool lights? They look awesome
Where did you buy the pool lights. I would love to night swim.

Any idea on a reset button for this pump? I came home to mine completely dead. Not sure what happened.
Can you show night view of the pool with the led lights and where did you purchase the lights?
Cant seem to be able to post a pic
How do you vacuum your pool?
We are do-it-yourselfers too. After digging to get level, what did you put down? Sand and the pavers for under the poles?
Yup sand and pavers
Legit the weirdest thing is to randomly click on a RUclips video and recognize the persons voice. Hi Serge!
Who is it lol
Serge Arseneau I sent you a msg on FB
Do you take it down in the winter?
How are you cleaning the filter.
Im starting the 4 year wit it
Hello looks great.. just got one set up. Just wonder what you did to the pool for winter storage ?

Im starting my 4 year with it . I leave about 1 foot of water 1 foot a half
Leveling the ground I wanted to pull my hair out.
It’s still not the best. I hope it hold up
When you said 30 degrees, I didn't believe it. Then I remembered that you live in Canada. Thirty degrees Fahrenheit in the U.S. is below freezing.😂
Hahaha
Where did you get lights?
How do you close it for winter?

Upgrade to a sand filter this pump is just basic .

Can you plug it into an extension cord or does it HAVE to go into an outlet? Our outlet cover is preventing the GFCI plug from fitting.
A just ran wire in my little shep and plug in there
Hi Serge just wanted to.know is it better to place pavers under each pole.
Yes for sure because if you dont your poles eill dig in the ground making pool not level ..using pavers is the right way to do it
I just bought one 18 × 48 at Walmart for $598 plus HST and shipping ..... $720 all in. I live in Toronto, Ontario (Canada).
do you like it ? 2 weeks update pleaseeeee :) haha
Hey man, does the pump have filters you have to change weekly ??
