Great job! Succinct while covering a wide territory of books and structure. I haven't read all the books you reference. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is the one with which I'm most familiar. Of course, now I'm interested in Babel as a school that takes power from the students--the opposite of Hogwarts that encourages growth. I wonder how the schools you survey fit in with the local surroundings. That is, what is the relationship of the school to the world that surrounds them? How important is that in "the magic school" structure you outlined in this video? Thanks.
Happy to see you on the internet buddy!
This was a good analysis, I found it really valuable for some story ideas I'm developing.
Thanks! I appreciate you letting me know!

Babel is outstanding. I can't even tell you. Thanks for checking out the video!
And... no mention of The Worst Witch books by Jill Murphy in your list at the start... shame.
I am adding it to the list! DANG! Thanks for the recommendation! I'm on it.
