    it makes no sense why registered mail takes so much longer, raising the level of security shouldn't make it go from 1-5 days to 10-15 days

      I agree but From what I understand the process is much different for registered mail and requires certain personnel, keys, or record tracking at different points of its transportation process to ensure compliance

    Is the certified mail number going to be the same type of number slip for a registered mail number after it has been registered?

    2 years is statute of limitations. if you dont sign certified mail for 2 years a legal lawsuit can not be started.

      A person does not have to sign for certified mail, I ask who is the mail from if I do not know the person I do not sign it, NO law says that I have to sign for anything

    I refuse to sing for any certified mail or Registered mail that I get without me knowing who it is from first, If I do not know the person I will not sign for it, NO law says that I have to sign for it

      This is true but then you won't get delivery of the mail.

      @@muffemod most of mine is Junk mail, I can live without, Bill notices even though I got my bills on auto pay
