As a PFL RS3 owner (2015 car) I had no issues whatsoever so far. Great car with a unique and fantastic sound, I absolutely love the RS3 experience, it really sounds like a mini supercar or half a V10 as people often say.
    I would recommend though:
Halve the service intervals required by Audi and you won't have problems. Oil change every 10000 km is mandatory in my eyes. I even change the spark plugs every 10k aswell, just to be sure. Other than that of course don't floor it when the oil and transmission are still cold or not up to operating temperatures and when you really pushed it for a long period of time, "drive it cold" again.
I also heard of the mentioned issues in the video aswell from other owners, but that was the minority. Service is key, if you take care of your car, it will have a long lifespan. The 5 cylinder engine is pretty robust when serviced well and regularly

I own a 2018 8V RS3. The DRL are prone to burn out on these cars and replacing the unit is expansive since you often have to replace the entire headlight just to fix a bloody DRL! Thanks Audi engineers!
