About me - I'm Claire and I live in the UK. My taste in perfumes is usually quite sweet but not too sweet, I love white florals but not tuberose so much. I like gourmands as long as they smell like perfumes still, I require my perfumes to change a little bit as I wear them ie not linear. I don't enjoy oud, leather, cumin, saffron or strong patchouli however there can be occasions where I do like perfumes with these notes if they are not too dominant. I enjoy most florals as long as they are backed up with something sweet or perhaps resins / insense. I tend to not enjoy anything very soapy. I also don't really enjoy very green fragrances. I am averse to overdoses of ambroxan and iso E super (timbersilk or similar) just because I find it annoying! I have no problem with synthetics in perfumery but I do enjoy perfumes that have some notes that at least smell like they could be from nature. My favourite type of perfumery is indie and I love Francesca Bianchi, Teone Reinthal, 4160 Tuesdays and Papillon Artisan Perfumes.

Adverts - I know they are annoying but they earn me a few pennies from the Adsense which I put back into buying perfumes to talk about on this channel.
They sold for upwards of USD 200 the bottle in 2015. I have collected most of them and recently notice the last place in 2024 to find several of the fragrances in the collection, at tester or remainder prices, is UK. The remaining stock was in UK, obviously.
I tried to order them by the UK shops won't ship to my country. If you are in UK, and can buy these for 24 - 35 pounds, you're getting a bargain! Very high quality. Enjoy!

I knew nothing about these, so thanks for the review! They're a bit pricier here than the U.K. but probably still a bargain for classic perfumery.

I'd only blind buy if it's a low price and I think it will be my style. Otherwise always first sampling. 🌹

Thanks Claire. Just bought Chaldee for £25 + £4.59 postage off E bay. Bargain. Trust your nose and enjoy your reviews. Good investment I think and I'll hopefully enjoy the smell. I'm 50 this year and not into most modern releases and their similar smells and chemical make-up. Also just received Teone Reinthal " Fleurs Sauvages " from her vintage sale which actually gives me vibes of Gul Hina from Areej le Dore. It's a goodun.. Thanks again ))

@@Smurfygurly It's arrived. Annnnd.. Yes, really like it. Funny you mention Teone Reinthal as this reminds of something but can't put my finger on it! But I believe it's something from my naturals/niche perfumes I've smelled which would indicate the quality and maybe level of naturals used here.. Love the bottle as well and for the prices you can pick these up it's a no brainer. Just smells lovely and well done. Might be me going down the Heritage collection wormhole.. Think it was LVMH who bought them.. I've seen RRP between £180 and £245 for Chaldee and some others from the range are cheaper. Thanks for the video and recommendation ))
