Am excited to see you mention YSL Paris and Chanel’s Cristalle EDP. These are perfumes I wore in the eighties and nineties. I recently bought a “revisit” bottle of Paris, and memories do come back. I wear Cristalle Eau Verte right now, but plan to buy a bottle of Cristalle EDP in the new bottle soon. Thanks for a thoughtful video.
Thanks for watching, I’m finding more and more that I’m drawn to more classic perfumes, from the days before they started filling them with these beast mode aroma molecules.
I only have an older bottle of “Cristalle” edp. It’s beautiful in the spring. I love C19, Ma Griffe, Hindu Kush, Jasmin White Moss, Azuree, Vent Vert, Cabouchard, PG Psychotrope in the Spring. Green and floral are my favourites, especially this time of year.
Really enjoying the video and as mentioned enjoyed Beige a lot when sampled too😍 I love Dior's Sakura and it gives me the same vibe although not directly similar.💖💖
My favorite time of year and these all seem wonderful. I am so tempted to blind buy Joyeuse Tubereuse. How can I lose if you, Karine, Lizzie, and Cherie all love it!? 😁
Hi ! I still have my Guerlain Angélique Noir in the older bottle ( the same as your G Joyeuse Tuberose, mine bought some 15 yrs ago)) and G Matière Première " Angélique Noir" is not the same , it is lacking this luxurious quality . You got such a beautiful selection ❤❤. Greetings from Paris
Bless Aniela snoring in the cat land of nod. She's so adorable. Lovely spring fragrances QB, not familiar with most of these apart from Joyeuse Tubereuse. I've not reached for mine yet this spring, but seeing as I've started enjoying Tuberose fragrances, it's definitely time to start enjoying it. Absolutely love the original Guerlain bottles. Did you say. . 'Wombling around?' 😂😂
Hey, I do agree with galbanum up top in Cristalle! I think the new pyramid is meant to fool the newcomers who are afraid to smell classic! I am pretty sure they did their best (within their aroma palette) to create as close to the original and most of its notes are there. I also agree that Beige smells ambery in colour, I haven't worked that one out yet, but there is definitely something giving off that warm feel - maybe honey? When I heard Aniela snoring before you mentioned it, I turned around trying to locate my cat in disbelief because I was sure I saw her upstairs a minute agoThat snore is charming!🐈
Yes you’re probably right about that pyramid. Beige is definitely warm, I feel the name doesn’t really match the smell myself. I’d call it Warm Sand or Corale 🪸
That would be quite a shot to get it on your pillow 😂. I weirdly liked S&S Neroli, actually worked on me. Thst rare neroli like. Some great spring ones there. I defo will be Mr White Flora
I really want the old school bottle of Joyeuse Tubereuse. I know they reformulated it (I wrote to Guerlain), but not sure I’d trust the reformulation. Oh and now I want the Chanel Cristalle! ☔️
I love Cristalle but only the version which comes in the tall skinny bottle with the black lid. My love for this is no surprise considering my love for Beige which is also a Jacques Polge perfume. The new version is not green enough for me if that makes sense 😊
@@Smurfygurly I am really into vintage scents at the moment, would have loved to get my hands on your bottle of YSL Paris. I am searching for a bottle of the original Yvresse by YSL that is reasonably priced. Having no luck 🤑
Yes I’ve always been keen on 19 Poudre but the greenness held me back. I’m planning to try it properly. Baiser Vole I think I tried years ago but can’t remember will look out for it.
Have you changed the settings on whatever camera you’re using? Looks different than usual 😊 Love these choices, mainly Cristalle 😂 which is the ultimate ice queen fragrance
Cristalle is a beauty . I only have the latest formulation so can't compare to the original. I also have both Unspoken Musk and Sex and the Sea. I preferred this over the Neroli one, when I got samples. Paris I'd also timeless and very lovely. How do you know what year the fragrance is from prior to buying ? Or do you contact the seller beforehand to get more information
I preferred the old Guerlain bottles too! I regret not getting the older style SDV when I had the chance. 🙂
I’ve never tried Beige. I really want to try it! Spring has still barely sprung! 🙆♀️😁☀️🌸
It’s lovely Joanna 🌸🌻
We have the same spring weather here in Ohio: four seasons in one day! 😂 But it does give me the opportunity to use fragrances across my collection!
There’s always a silver lining!
I love the snoring kitty in the background! Reminds me of mine. So cute.
😻

I’m only just coming around to green notes in fragrances, one that I’d like to explore further is No 19 Poudre, I always enjoy a sniff in the shops .
I loved that you give your notes, what you smell, that is so helpful in understanding what something might smell like
Thanks Em 💖
Paris! My post collegiate fragrance! I have a vintage bottle too! Love the selection! Claire!❤️🌹
Paris is so lovely! Thank you 💖🌸
Yes to florals in the spring!! 🌷🌹🌼🌺
Oh yes! 🌸🪻🌻

😂😂 look out for it at discounters Jimbo you never know!
I'm wearing Swiss Arabian Passion of Venice for spring right now 🌹
Haven’t heard of that one 🌸
“Maybe it’s the second time around for this bride.” 😂

Yes, I said wombling around 😂 I’ve no idea where that came from. I’ve a feeling you’d enjoy Cristalle 💚

White florals all the way sir!

Oh I didn’t know that!
Haha love your sleepy 🐱

Love the cat snores 😄😺

That’s probably why I like it, not as green! 💚

from how your tastes seem to be evolving have you tried no 19 poudre?...or baiser vole?

I messed up my colour correcting / brightening in editing 😂

I found out once I had the bottle, I knew it was a bit old and that was good enough for me.
“Piss, scalp..pretty flowers” Hmm 🤨 definitely not selling many on this one!😅
😂😂
Scalpis🤯😄💖
