    I've had the same trouble with TDR. It's very temperamental and not always a reliable test. Good in a pinch, but nothing beats a good set of testers. Great video!

    If you haven't done so already, you can always go to layer 3 and demonstrate routing.

    Great videos thanks, hope you don’t mind me asking as My last data centre OVH had a fire just over a week ago and my servers all burnet up are you ups and batteries in the same building as your data and are you using lithium v best 👍

    I would love to be working in a DC but there's little to no DC in my country (Malaysia) from my knowledge. Most networking job is for outside cabling and home networks. But still, I would like to be working in a DC.

    Maybe you could do a video on security? Why not to use VLAN 1.

      With Cisco devices anyway, it’s the default VLAN. As a general rule of thumb in security you never use default anything.

      With stp configured, one port will go down as soon as the loop is detected.

      Spanning tree with error out the port and show “errdisabled”

      @@aure_eti By default on Cisco switches, VLAN 1 is used for management, and is also the default VLAN for all the ports on a switch. An attacker could connect to an unused port and immediately have access to your management VLAN. If nothing is used on VLAN 1, they can't do anything, hence why it's suggested not to use it.
