Philip Clark he dosent have to, search some black bands and you'll probably find a better drum line, not trying to be racist it's just my preference of bands. The bands in the video- They did do good but I'm not fully attracted to their performance
The lines ain’t that clean, if I’m honest. But they also don’t exactly look like professional drum lines and is warrant a guess that the bands they’re in aren’t the best developed. It’s not the fault of an entire line if their percussion director doesn’t know how to clean up their sound. All that being said, the people in this video look like they’re enjoying drumming more than I ever have, even with 4 years on a line. I’ve always wanted to get I to a Drumline battle and it’s a shame all these negative nancies can’t look past the less than perfect sound quality and value a) the practice they have clearly put in and b) the absolute hell of a time they’re having. I wish I could be on one of those lines!!!
Epic in the sense it was a bunch of kids coming together to have fun. Messy? Yes. But they enjoyed themselves. Nice to see that, rather than running their mouths at each other.
The drumline is called a drumline for a reason. One person can't play everyone's instrument. You're only as good as your weakest link when it comes to drumline. It don't matter how good you are it's how you sound together
Out of all the bands. I think the blues drumline was the best. They still were not good since they were sloppy. They had no formation and were just moving everywhere. I liked that they use traditional grip cause in my opinion its just better. Some notes were off on all bands, i saw some of the kids were confused. Some were too slow some were rushing. But I think overall the best band was the blue one.
It's not about who was the best out there bro. They had a blast, and it's a drumline battle that's going like 6 ways what are they supposed to do act all serious? You think anything in the video was done professionally? Cause it wasn't bro. And it doesn't matter if you play traditional or matched you can be better at one of the other it just matters the chops you can get out of it.
this is a proven example of how you got high school drumlines with no instructors or someone to help them with and they gotta come up with stuff on they own....
That first drumline killed me. No traditional, what even are playing zones (tenors. You know who you are), basses don't know where the centers of their heads are, and all of the lines were really really dirty
@@anthonysmaniotto1495 it doesn't matter the order of the basses are in. If I set my rack toms up in a random order I can still play them in order but I just gotta move my hands around a bit more. It's not like the order of which they're in will differ how the song plays out.

Philip Clark he dosent have to, search some black bands and you'll probably find a better drum line, not trying to be racist it's just my preference of bands. The bands in the video- They did do good but I'm not fully attracted to their performance
Bands with the cowboy hats always got me dead
probobly the best moment of the whole parade
The best moment of the parade is when it ended.
4:21 dude rocking hahaha
what was the first band
A mistake
My instructor would’ve never tolerated that much movement while we weren’t playing 😭
Worst drum battle I've ever seen
Giovanni brown thx bb 😘
Giovanni brown yes dude 😂😂😂😂
Same here; Mach grip snares and still not clean
Nothing wrong with match grip, but I will agree that this sounded like popcorn
@@EvanGorczyk Please don't insult the popcorn industry. To quote Monty Python, "Oh my BRAIN hurts!"
OK be kind in your comments! These kids are awesome and having a BLAST!!
Yo are you guys a marching band?
Epic in the sense it was a bunch of kids coming together to have fun.
Messy? Yes. But they enjoyed themselves. Nice to see that, rather than running their mouths at each other.
So sad to see so many "ADULTS" criticizing all of these hard working kids that look like they are having a good time.
Well, they really aren’t good
They're all really good!
R clearly you are dumb 😂😂😂
Amazing. All of these lines were better than the ones in Drumline
To hell with traditional grip,I liked this !And the yellow school rocked....
Are you being sarcastic or you really think they rocked it? Because they was whack
Eyy! Another band that wears Aussies. We wear aussies. AHEMM! Snares... the shoulder thing goes under your jacket! Not over!
Mike it really doesn’t mater if the harness is over or under the uniform except if you need to get equipment on and off fast.
They did it because it goes well with the uniform but u r correct. My band makes u wear it under not over
Bruh my marching bands drumline would actually wipe the floor with these kids
Bro my middle school marching band would mop the floor with all of em combined
i just realized that some of the lines are playing with concert sticks
There quite obviously not
Lukes legos some of them are lmao
THE SOUND OF SOME QUAD AND SNARE DRUMS IS OUT OF TUNE
The center snare of the blue drumline is good though
The drumline is called a drumline for a reason. One person can't play everyone's instrument. You're only as good as your weakest link when it comes to drumline. It don't matter how good you are it's how you sound together
Dylan Alvarez words of wisdom
The guys in the red uniforms actually had something challenging
Still dirty
Awesome!!!!!
if u were there what would u do
me: pulls out Pokemon card "fight me bolich"
3:30 me on friday after the bell goes to say school is over
this beat down is called - DIRT!
It was dirty
Brandon Hagood I'm glad I'm not the only you thought that
the cringe just watching this
this is a proven example of how you got high school drumlines with no instructors or someone to help them with and they gotta come up with stuff on they own....
Excellent video. Great Drum Line!!
you're high
no way
+TheSymbolGenerator Thanks bro!
All of these drumlines have serious timing issues.
The drumming is good enough that I will ignore title
At least 2 out of the 4 schools there are teaching the kids how to play marching snare correctly 😂
One of the lines I believe it's the blue line is self taught. Their technique is good they just need a metronome desperately
Guys, I have to say that I was underwhelmed. The title promised everything but delivered almost nothing.
ALMOST? Cmon bruh
@@ct9411 I mean we got the cool ass camera shots that was something. I definitely think the highlight of the video was how the video was made.
Idc wat yall say i like the dudes with the hair😂😂
+Dshawn Brown Tru
Thanks man
nice drum the yellow black uniform😍😍
Bruh the can't even stand with there drums flat
Yo I just noticed, why did the snares from sehome touch the snare head like if they were muffling it 🤣🤣🤣 it’s a snare bruhhhhhh🤣
8:00....We all have that one friend...😂
Whoa whoa 4 wait is another team going to pop out behind the bushes???
- COUGH - RED AND BLACK JACKETS - coUGH -
cLOse TO the EmO jesUS JacKETS
That first drumline killed me. No traditional, what even are playing zones (tenors. You know who you are), basses don't know where the centers of their heads are, and all of the lines were really really dirty
+Lucas Walters I mean we ain't from the south so it doesn't matter there
+Sehome Drumline here*
The basses were out of order too. Why was 4 and 1 next to eachother?
@@anthonysmaniotto1495 it doesn't matter the order of the basses are in. If I set my rack toms up in a random order I can still play them in order but I just gotta move my hands around a bit more. It's not like the order of which they're in will differ how the song plays out.
from 7:25 to 8:25 that was lit
omg bruh, how can they be doing match grip and still murder my ears
