Well I appreciate the enthusiasm 100%. Few things, I agree with 10 mags Minimum. 1. Optic- You need magnification. Proper ID of targets is key. Or u know shoot whatever see how far it gets u. 2. Pistol- either way, if u do bring a IWB in pack. May need to go gray for a minute. Don't need 4 mags on ur kit 1 extra, 2 if your a G with pistols. 3. Armor- If you can't do lvl 4 go chest rig. Skip lvl 3s save for 4s. Most ppl will be using a rig anyhow. 4. Plackard - I'd choose something more slim line. Prone is cool. 5. EarPro / Commo - Get that commo & peltors asap. You got a MR Pack you can get your commo set. Priority. 6. Ammo - 5k Minimum. Sounds like alot but not really. If it is SHTF / MinuteMan time chances are you'll go threw ammo like food & water or u know ☠️.
Biden don't want us to be ready no more. I guess that's a pretty clear sign that shtf is coming. The paramilitary training ban that they are trying to pass and the militia ban.
So much value in this video, and then you dropped that you are a drill sergeant, 10x more value! But the biceps flex at the end. If I wasn't already subscribed, I would have at that moment. Hell yeah. You only flex in life when your feel amazing and your message is solid. Thank you for your service.

To offset this demand, speak/demonstrate some conditioning training that can help your subs build up to the task at hand. Ruck marches, rifle drills, PT, etc. great video of your gear set up!

Look into the Shellback tactical rampage great flack. Just ran it through a 30day field op. I put 6x6 side pads with level3 soft armor. The Kevlar acts like a pad. I like the blackhawk omnavor holster it's level 2 retention plus you need to swap pistols just SLAP on a tlr1 or a x300 light and you're good to go. I'm currently training guys so I can play around with my gear. I love my opscore Kevlar wish I had it in my active duty days. I voodooed some Walkers with a aux cable and a truckers Mike the sound close to as good as my peltor. I got those crazy reindeer looking earphone mounts for my rails, found them on Amazon they look, feel, and act like the real deal ones, and they survived the summer field op. I still carry a combat load of 7 rifle mags 4 pistol, but have a preloaded resupply of 8 and 4 in a sling bag for my pack. I just butchered and moded a ALIC pack light frame. Use it for Iraq 06 and Afghan 09 and 10. Was a USMC 0331 war dog hump a lot of 7.62 with that pack. 600 rounds and at4 lived on the frame with my regular gear. Love the vids brother take it easy.
Water, more ammunition and a change of clothing to “grey man” wear. Make sure the bag/ rucksack/ backpack/ whatever can contain the gear you don’t want to leave behind when you have to exfiltrate in a stealthy manner. If you can train with your gear while shooting even better. Great Video! Good Information
Thank you for staying 10 or more mags between 1st,2nd and 3rd line of gear. I see so many hipster dudes rocking "minimalist" setups of two Rifle mags one pistol Mag, two radios, chemlights, smoke, two tq's and a full blowout kit with a dangler full of cliff bars with a zipper integrated camelback and no ruck sack lol. Then advertise this as a "combat load out". Great video covering the bases for the laymen out there.
Everything depends on what your mission is. I live in an urban environment. Me as a civilian I have an AR-15 that is urban camo or at least looks like it. Grey 511 pants. Or black. Black shirt or flannel to blend. Springfield XD 9 pistol with light. 3 mags for each firearm. I will be defending my home. Most civilians won't bug out that easy. If you're going to bug out then that's a different. The weight is going to slow you down regardless.
I'd be going for a less militarized look in a real shit hit the fan situation. I'll probably be rocking some worn out dirty work clothes and hiding my guns under a poncho or something. The nail that sticks out the most gets hammered.
Love this type of video! The only thing I'd say, which is much more work is including links to the products or the names of the brands and products listed in the description. Some of your words are difficult to hear and so some of the brands you're referring too I don't know and/or haven't heard of. You mentioned another type of pant besides Emerson, but couldn't make out the name as an example of what I mean. Lovin' the content brother!
Man I do like Salomon but I recently bought a pair of AKU pilgrim boots. Italian company with a long line of behind the scenes supply to covert organizations. The US navy seals say they designed the best boots ever for land water combo ops. The UK military uses them also. They fit me better than Salomon’s, truth be told they are slipping. Salomon is a comfortable boot but every pair I have had (3) has broken down faster than the ones before. The Aku are light but stiff enough to carry heavy loads and support is great. Support is the first thing to go in Salomon’
You mentioned a few things with budget in mind, such as focusing on the rifle setup over getting a pistol. Can you talk about how that might pertain to helmets? The Ops Core helmets, for example, are expensive with even the bump helmets being several hundred dollars, and they may be well out of the budget range of someone who is struggling to afford a rifle and kitting out a plate carrier with L210s and the appropriate pouches to carry their gear. What solution(s) would you recommend for someone in that position, other than "stop being poor," of course? Army surplus? Cheap bump helmet? Camo ball cap or Boonie cap and hope you don't get hit in the head?
Aliens and Chinese weather balloons are at the top of my list of threats. Having a standard rifle is the first thing since ammo can be shared. Minecraft requires players of similar load out stick together, whatever your platform, mAcK or PC15. Some points on clothing/soft gear in general: IR treatment is going to be as important if not more so as the actual pattern you choose, that being said, the pattern you choose isn’t nearly as important as moving properly, especially through a wooded/vegetated environment. Look at the viet cong, half of those guys are wearing solid colour civilian clothes and they haunted the jungle.
If you can't afford cryes and you are a smaller guy, beyond a9 mission pants have been on sale for 99 bucks for like the past month. They are actual contenders for crye and are quality. The a9 mission shirts come in for about 70 bucks, too.
I also recommend carrying some meds on you. Carrying a bottle of sleep aid is highly underrated. Especially in the event you need to detain someone. Dissolve in water, give water to detainee, wait 30 minutes, less problems to deal with.
@@trench_grenade oh, for anything within rule of law, of course. Chemical restraints are ...frowned upon. WROL/SHTF scenarios, though... You spoke briefly on the issue of carrying a pistol vs not carrying one. Would like to hear more about this. Like you said, it could take away the ability to feed the rifle but it could keep you from being killed.
1. Pistols are nice to have, but largely unnecessary. They weigh too much, take up too much room, and the odds of anyone using one is very low, much lower than the odds of needing another mag (in my opinion). A Glock 19 and 3 mags weighs about 3 lbs, as much as 3 more mags for your AR. You do you, but a handgun is not necessary. This isn't the military where the mission needs to be done. If my rifle goes down, I'm less than useless to my friends, and I'm going home before I become a casualty. (OK, so there are a few select missions that do need to be done, but they are very, very rare.) 2. A helmet is necessary if you use NVs, but being ballistic isn't. They cost and weigh more, and almost certainly won't stop 5.56. The odds of being shot in the head with a handgun, shotgun, or frag is very, very low, if those shots wouldn't otherwise kill you. 3. Helmet mounted ear pro is nice but is no way necessary. Technically speaking, ear pro isn't "necessary" at all, but your future self will hate you if you don't have it. Walker Game Ears work just fine. 4. Military surplus pants are fine. As you use them, they will wear out, so you'll want a few pairs. 5. Whatever hunting/tactical boots you have will work fine, if you know they work for you. You can buy military surplus for cheap. They are heavy, but I've run lots of miles in them, they work and they will last. -A Marine

It’s all mission specific but like we know one bullet without plates can stop us. So if you drop the plates you have to be able to justify it. Long movements etc

Would love to hear your opinions on different plate carriers. I'm looking at picking one up but having a hard time figuring out where the critical point between paying for quality and paying for a brand name is
Mission specific. If your going to be mostly static then yes. The first thing to go is normally side plates and then your handgun for long prolonged movements
So I hear folks say carry 10+ mags at minimum. If you put 4 on the chest rig, one (or two) on the belt, where do you put the rest? I assume the rest go in your bag, but idk. This might sound dumb, but I don’t know. 😂
I am missing something with your logic, why ten mags (about 300 rounds) wouldn't it make more sense to have five mags available and keep extra ammo in the pack? I am just thinking if your out there for awhile I would be feeling better if I had all mags full and not have some depleted mags hanging around and It would give myself something to do. Ten mags takes up a heck of a lot of volume on kit and pack.
How much better are Crye over Emerson? And is there a difference between Emmerson and lower price brands? I go cheap on cammo so I've more money for the more important gear but I would like to know if you don't mind

Mission specific. If your going to be mostly static then yes. The first thing to go is normally side plates and then your handgun for long prolonged movements
Hey, you should talk to Grey Wolf Protective Industries... id love to see you guys do a collab since you're both small creators
I’ll have to dm him
@Trench Grenade the primary hosts of the channel are a marine vet and an army vet so I'm sure you'll get along just fine lol
So I hear folks say carry 10+ mags at minimum. If you put 4 on the chest rig, one (or two) on the belt, where do you put the rest? I assume the rest go in your bag, but idk. This might sound dumb, but I don’t know. 😂
Bag
I am missing something with your logic, why ten mags (about 300 rounds) wouldn't it make more sense to have five mags available and keep extra ammo in the pack? I am just thinking if your out there for awhile I would be feeling better if I had all mags full and not have some depleted mags hanging around and It would give myself something to do. Ten mags takes up a heck of a lot of volume on kit and pack.
The fight will as long as you can shoot or be shot
Like the gear layout kinda my price
But I have short term memory
Nice if you could make a gear list link
I will next time. Just busy as hell
How much better are Crye over Emerson? And is there a difference between Emmerson and lower price brands? I go cheap on cammo so I've more money for the more important gear but I would like to know if you don't mind
The cryes are definitely better but I can get 3 sets of Emerson’s for the price of one.
