- An interesting traffic appeal court hearing…!!!
This remix is intended to provide better insight into how our courts and the folks who run them administer justice to the public they serve. Remember they have to deal with folks who are often having their worst day on a daily basis.
This commentary remix work constitutes a fair use of any copyrighted materials under section 107 of the US copyright law. Video was edited only to add relevant commentary and to reduce time in the hopes it will be more convenient to be viewed by more folks thereby raising public interest.
My favorite thing about your channel is closure. It may be in part two, it it almost always happens. So many others have the opening or just part of the story but not the result.
Thank you! i look thru public records for courts to try and follow future hearings, past hearings (if they still have video available) and case closure...appreciate your noting this, it actually takes a fair amount of time BUT i HATE to be left hanging too !!
That's EXACTLY why I am addicted and appreciate Squishy so much!💖💖
Yes! And part two uploaded so quickly - thanks!
That's my favorite thing about our Squishy too!
@@OSGCourtWatch We all appreciate it!
“You can see the ‘Karen’ building up” ☠️ 😂
Other citizens were obviously concerned enough about her driving to call it in....yet, here she is indignant and fully engulfed in a victim mentality. What a self-absorbed woman. 🙄
she has to be self-absorbed because nobody else would like to absorb her lol
It really says a lot about her driving for 2 people to call it in, most people just go about their business
Allegedly
Couldn’t agree more
We don't really give a damn for whiny faces
These are the the kind of people who don't tip waiters, scream at cashiers, and call themselves good Christians.
bam!
Just because someone calls themselves a good Christian doesn't mean they even are a Christian.
& home schools their children to be equally stupid.
If anyone claims they are a christian, either a good one or bad one, RUN! They believe a higher power has forgiven them and absolved them of their misdeeds. They accept no responsibility for their actions. Another weasel tossing out the religion card in an attempt to wriggle out of their wrongdoing.
@@richardvastine7486 With forgiveness you have to have repentance. Obviously you have no clue what a real Christian is.
How the hell do these people make it through life acting like this? She’s so confused at the most basic things and her husband said he was an officer for 25+ years but he doesn’t know how to act in a court proceeding?? They are both really out there.
Drugs and Drinks are present I'm sure. So she was driving on the wrong side of the road and was speeding and thinks she should not be charged for it cause she is a victim I'm sure.. WOW delusional much and her husband needs to shut up
@@mandiemyers4423 no most Karen’s don’t even do drugs they just think they’re better than everyone
In the 21st century, Society has become much too tolerant of lawlessness!
‘I’m a nitwit, so you must acquit.’
I love this officer. What a sweet heart. She's just a big baby. Totally entitled, no accountability. Like a toddler throwing a hissy fit. Grow up.
Another case of why we don't fix our own gas pipes, do our own surgery or appear in court without an attorney... 😏🤦🏼♀🤪
Absolutely!
@@Angela.Weisse did you see the Darrel brooks trial when he did a whole trial by himself in court it was LAUGHABLE lol
Actually plenty of people successfully represented themself in court on a daily basis. I've literally lost count of the amount of times, I've done it myself. It's actually easy to do once you're not retarded and comprehend basic common sense
Waiting for part 2 where Karen gets so frustrated with the court proceedings that she asks to see the judge's "manager". 😆
Hahahaha!! 😂
🤣🤣
But If she was black you'd be hollering some kind of racial injustice excuse huh.
@@artaxerxes2363hey, how about you stop trying to start trouble. Besides, it’s a known fact that black people are over emotional and account for half of the crime in the United States even though they make up just under 15% of the population.
@@artaxerxes2363 are you freaking out of your mind and always trying to bring in race.
The officer gave her a break by not giving a ticket that would take points from her license. She did wrong, she paid the ticket now she needs to just stop whining.
Judge Frushour has to be my favorite because she never lets people talk out of line for even a second she shuts it down immediately
Agreed
Some people are so accustomed to bullying their way thru life, they are totally unable to admit when they are wrong.
Amen, Master Yoda...
Or they’re just too stupid to know the difference…
Because they get away with it so much they become convinced they are right. Ignorant people!
they also can't speak when they realise that they are wrong
Where is part2!?
Oh Karen is about to burst! This is great! Thank you for taking the time to put this together!
I love your screen name!
i really enjoy it. thanks!
Oh my goodness, Karen and Kevin feel they are both entitled to drive how they like and be entitled to special privileges when caught. Officer Belknap articulated his testimony very well. Kevin on the other hand well, I question his integrity as an officer. Karen seems like an aggressive and potentially dangerous driver. As always Squishy, good video with great commentary. Can't wait for part 2!
Thanks for the kind words violet...its going public in about 45 min!
Of course they are entitled. He's a retired cop. What he was used to. Dumb and dumber. He gets a break and it ain't enough.
I agree with you. 🙂
Funny humans and pigs alike all merge when the lane runs out and no one gets a ticket. How is that possible? Ohhhhhhh f**k me running because it's normal behavior!!!!
@@OSGCourtWatch the pig lied and your backing it I gotta say I thought you better than that!!!!
That offhanded comment about the court system should have gotten her a stern warning, if not contempt right there on the spot. And it was clear the husband kept talking, which is ALSO contemptuous of the court. These poor judges need to get everyone back into their courtrooms where they can maintain some decorum!
The Zoom makes for some funny content though!🤭
Need the $ ,vid conferencing just gets it done.
Painful to watch though.
I think she can see that Kev and Karen are a few cents short of a dollar, so she's giving them a bit of room to make a few mistakes
@@beccatee66 agreed.
I agree! I've gained a huge respect for judges.
It's not about Karen not being accustomed in court.
It's Karen not used to letting other people talk, without being able to talk over them.
EXACTLY the karen mentality...lol
She and the hubby are well matched in that regard.
Can’t wait for part two!!! This is hilarious 😂
The only court channel I can watch. The lack of loud obnoxious commentators that pause every 30 seconds really makes it great
Am I the only one who pulled up this intersection on Google maps?
Edit: I feel bad for the people who's county her husband's serves because he seem like one of those bad cops that make good people like Officer Belknap look bad.
thats GREAT... i didnt in this case BUT i find myself doing stuff like that on some of these cases... gotta luv google
@@OSGCourtWatch lol I wanted to find this right turn only lane she was talking about, but I kept getting lost in what she was saying because she was rambling about things that don't apply to the case, like my husband's a cop. What does that have to do with your wreckless driving lady?
yep, I did. I often do my due diligence before taking a stance and commenting an opinion. Dont just believe what others say, check it out for yourself if you want the truth. Right?
So was it a right turn only lane or not?
"I'm not used to court proceedings."
We can tell. That fact is painfully and embarrassingly obvious.
OldSquishyGardener, this is the judge mentioned I believe in the Two Tools video. Glad to see we can see the appeal proceedings. Does this mean we'll get a Two Tools update if they do/did appeal?
The other problem too that's probably distracting her is she's having everything fed to her by Kevin.. I don't know why they let it go on so long
@@Fastshot right!!! In some of these videos if they hear people in background they IMMEDIATELY scold them
Sounds like she got off easy considering there were two calls of her poor driving. Surprised the Judge didn't ask her husband if he has a license to practice law as he was giving legal advice during a formal hearing.
Exactly, and what her husband should have been doing is telling her to stop driving like a maniac and breaking laws. He should have told her to pull over and let him drive since she was putting lives in danger. Why was an ex cop allowing his wife to drive recklessly and then expecting other officers and the court to excuse such behavior? Why does he think being an ex officer somehow gives him allowances when he should be held to an even higher standard on traffic and safety matters? Something isnt adding up here with these folks, cause she aint gettin the problem.
@@donnaanderson2 yes, unfortunately I have to call into question the husband's integrity as an officer which saddens me.
@@VioletWings1353 That could be why he is an ex-cop.
@@VioletWings1353 Yeah, it kinda feels like he was just pissed that they got a ticket at all, like he is quite used to not having to worry about such things as us regular people. She cut in line cause she was in a hurry and there was traffic........and had done the same thing along the road before........and she got busted. Sorry, it happens. If you dont want a ticket, dont try to cut ahead of traffic and force your way in. It pisses people off at best, at worst you crash.
Could you imagine her driving? She looks like such a nervous person and you add her husband yelling at her as the back seat driver. I miss judge Frushour. Thanks Squishy this is a classic
I need part two!!!! I can't stop laughing 🤣
This is gold! 💰 Don’t leave us hanging too long, Squishy.
Exactly!! I'm waiting to see the 2nd video and anticipating a complete melt down lol
LOL..i felt bad for leaving it as long as i did..
Jesse O'jack 's voice sounds like Larry David 🤣
Thanks for sharing
I Court watch Judge Middleton, Judge Bryant and judge Simpson. I love how you pick out funnies from other judges that I don't have time to watch. Keep up the good work
will do .. ThANKS for subbing !!
A rise up from the chair and loud applause for Officer Belknap! He is the epiphany of how a police officer should present themself as! That makes me happy as I was once like him before I left the department and continue my other career, and a little humor can go a long way these days especially! Awesome guy and brother in blue!
A little humor means nothing when a $300 ticket can practically ruin your life.
I'm so broke that losing $300 would set me back 6 months.
@@ceIIardoor& that sucks but don’t do shit to get a $300.00 ticket.
Squishy, you’re the best. Keep ‘em coming.
I loved this one...it seems that she is the only one who does not realize what she did wrong! She will never get it.
I think the judge needs to get that husband on camera and admonish him for giving legal advice when I'm assuming he's not a lawyer.
Also, found this channel from Law Talk with Mike. Good stuff.
oh, he takes the stand...just answerin a few chats while having a cup o coffee then start rebuilding the part two file

I love this judge !! Not only is she beautiful but her facial expressions kill me !!😂😂😂😂😭😭😭😭
This is why getting a lawyer is kind of important.
And this video shows that so well!
@@jeunebug which cop? That's the prosecution. It is not a private prosecution and the cop is not on trial they are a witness for the state.
Agree. Or just pay the damn zero point ticket like everyone else lol.
i feel like she probably wanted a lawyer and the husband said “noo, you can do it yourself, i’ll tell you everything you need to say”
Exactly and they can be provided for her free!
I won’t be able to sleep at night until I see Part Two. 😊
I wanted to say that Law Talk With Mike reccomended this channel. Your videos are so good that I watch them twice. Once with LTWM and again on your channel. Thanks for the great content.😃
*Ahem*
There's a part two to this? Mrs. Dehart(Karen) is done. She is out of her league. Why didn't her husband urge her to get an attorney? "Being in L.E." he should know how futile this would be.. How much was the "no points" ticket? Sometimes you need to fall back and take an 'L".
Quite a "DUH" factor here with her and her husband both. What is her husband thinking ( if he was in fact an officer)?
Thanks VERY much !! i was surprised how her hubby was so unprepared...he must not have had to do much testimony in his 38 years on the force...
@@OSGCourtWatch Wasn't Trial Prep taught in Academies in the early '80s? Maybe he was a correction officer or (like Officer Levitt on "Barney Miller") an administrative assistant with a badge.

A bad driver is a bad driver, whether driving her car or driving her ego and mouth ... And her husband!!

Solid way to laugh off the ticket. I wouldnt even be mad.

Hi Cheeky, love watching your vids as well, you can always brighten my day. And my question is why didnt her husband tell her to pull the hell over before she kills them both? Because they both think the rules are for other folk. Not high class socialite pillars of society like them, that's why.
@@donnaanderson2 If these two are the pillars, then I am moving to Australia!
So frustrating when the officer was nice enough to give her a zero demerit ticket! Officer Belknap, kudos for keeping your cool during this and please know that your service is appreciated.
Looking forward to Part 2. I can’t wait to see how this turns out! 🤣🤣🤣🥰🥰🥰
its about as you would expect...a brutal train wreck...lol
I can't believe I enjoy watching this.. I am so nosey! LOL😂
Clearly one must at least know what the word "question" means in order to represent one's self in court.
The use of words is hard
Officer Belknap seems like a really level headed guy. My gut feeling is he probably gave her every break possible. He just seems like a nice guy.
You found Judge Frushour! I remember first hearing of her in a Simpson video, where an attorney had a conflict. "So you'd rather appear in Judge Frushour's court, huh?" "No no, it's not that!" "I get it, I get it." Simpson has a wicked sense of humor.
he does BUT i feel bad case i watch him so much i end up posting him a lot..kinda feel like a stalker at times..lol
Fun times...Looking forward to Part 2...!😀❤💯
Lol..her husband is a former cop and he sounds like a child in the background asking can I talk. He should know that he can't.
He does know he can’t talk, but he is clearly the sort of corrupt cop who is used to using influence to do what he wants. He is probably ticked off that an honest cop doesn’t want to ignore dangerous driving.
This was a fun one! And the cherry on top, the judge is pleasant to look at as well! ;)
She had me fooled. I thought at first her husband was the issue. She was being super respectful to the judge and even apologetic about her husband’s behavior. I’m actually shocked by her change in demeanor.
This officer was a good guy!
I do not know why, but I think this case has to be my favorite. LOL 😂
Lady, seriously, get a god damn lawyer.
"My question for the officer is that I always use my turn indicators when I change my lanes".
Other than not being a question *and* not even being directed at the officer, she nailed this.
😂😂😂😂 I just LOLed so hard
How hard is it to listen and ask QUESTIONS!!!! I see this all the time damn! 😂
The Freudian slip of "the trailer park"...🤣🤣🤣🤣 That's not an apartment complex it was a trailer park lol. Gotcha 😄
I watched this one a few times, it was so entertaining. She was SO sure of herself!
How dare a police officer have a sense of humor and laugh at himself. I did that as a teacher for 30 years.
Measurements on Google Earth 🤣 - that testimony could have been crushed so hard on cross examination if she'd done some research
She doesn’t give off Karen vibes so much as intellectual and emotional issues vibes. She comes off as not smart enough to understand anything except her own feelings.
not a screaming karen BUT there was pretty clearly a sense of entitlement that things go her way regardless..starting with expecting a "courtesy" from officer because her hubby used to be one...
She shouldn't be driving! What a goofball.
She's a dolt.
No disrespect to the Judge intended, but she makes those robes look amazing 🤩 Hello beautiful 😍.
She could have gotten a lawyer provided to her by the court. Instead she went with...her husband.
Just finished part two...set up a premiere in a couple hours (IF i did it right...LMAO...i SUCK at tech)...
Anxiously waiting
That is okay SOG! I am model "A" John Deere technology level trying to deal today's tech also. So I understand where you are coming from. Great first half. Hard to believe, for me anyhow, that someone can be so entitled when they know multiple driving complaints had been called in on her. WOW! Anxiously awaiting the exciting conclusion!
How do I find part 2? Edge of my seat here lol
The officer tried to give her a break, and this is the thanks he gets. I would have appreciated it so much if I was her.
Spent part of this distracted by how much Mr. O'Jack looks like he should be the host of a wacky science show for kids on PBS.
Wasting courts time to appeal a zero point ticket for at most a $200 ticket 😅
funny as hell though 🤣
Not sure how I ended up watching these videos, but I'm addicted. I've been binge watching for days. I can't believe some of these people 🤦 Thanks for the great vids
Love this Judge God bless all officers 🙏
I love that the cop also adds that he gives preferential treatment to other cops.

She was in a hurry. Her pizza's were cooling.
My Sunday has consisted of absolutely NOTHING but watching 👀 your EPIC court cases! No worried I have had enough energy today to at least hit the like button and I did subscribe 🙂 Have an awesome day, I sure have been haha
i’ve only had a couple tickets in my life. And the officer was correct on all of them. I paid the fine, I was at fault. I would never do what this woman is doing let alone her husband telling her everything in the background. This is painful to watch.
You have been fortunate. I got pulled over and ticketed for using a cellphone while driving. I told the Officer I certainly wasn't but only rubbing my temple with a cupped hand. I ask him if he wanted to look at my call history and he said no. He came back with a ticket and said he was only going to warn me but my " unnecessary " insistence made him write the ticket. I ask him if he wanted to see proof I wasn't and he said I can bring it to Court. He testified first. When my neighbor ( attorney) cross examined him he repeated almost entirely the conversation we had had that day. Almost every question answered was followed by " isn't it a fact that this was said ". Then he played my interior camera footage from the interior of my Lexus and asked the LEO if that refreshed his memory on every fact he was wrong about. The Judge asked the city prosecutor if he had any follow up questions. 30 seconds later it was dismissed. I was lucky to have had the evidence because the LEO's sworn testimony was crap.
I love how in the background all you can hear is this faint "can i talk now?.... can i talk now?.... can i talk now?"
So she's saying sorry for saying sorry too much? LOL!!!!
“I’m very sorry because I’m not use to court proceedings.”
Yeah? That’s why you get a lawyer!
Good thing I’m subscribed so I didn’t miss Part 2. I hate cliffhangers! It was easy to find!
Since I found this Channel, it has become my new NETFLIX. Thank you Squishy!
awesome lynn!! enjoy doing it for everyone!
Unless it was so wrong it needed to be addressed, who would put this much time into a simple traffic ticket. And her husband is driving me nuts in the background! Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb!
Where's her husband.
Gosh the voice of the male attorney is driving me Crazy 😜
I like this cop! He is very genuine.
I said it once, and I'll say it again. A layperson should never represent themselves in court.
I have successfully challenged a speeding ticket, though it was weird. How I succeeded was by:
1. I really wasn't speeding. It was at night, in the country, in a thick fog. You could see nothing. I was driving so slow my gf in the car was annoyed with me.
2. The officer clocked me on his radar at more than twice the speed limit
3. I politely challenged him, and asked to see the radar display. He told me that he couldn't because the display resets after a minute.
4. I asked and he instructed me on how I challenge the ticket. He was very polite and helpful.
5. He literally said that I could win if the Magistrate found for me, or if he didn't show up. He would not elaborate.
6. I went to the Magistrate's Office at the appointed time. As I expected, the police officer didn't show up. The Magistrate threw it out.
7. I knew he wouldn't show up, since 5 above, plus I also knew that local police in my state (PA) aren't allowed by law to have radar. He made that up.
I'd just say keep your cool, save the argument for the judge, be polite, know the law, and do what you're supposed to.
her waving at the camera was the best.
Top shelf video, Mr. Squishy.
If you close your eyes while listening to O’Jack speaks you hear Bernie Sanders or Larry David. Lmfao!
I always find it amazing in these clips how defendants don’t know what, “ask the witness whatever question you’d like.” Is. It’s question time, not ramble on and tell the same story over and over
This was hilarious!!! My favorite so far
No good deed goes undone. Should have given several tickets.
She should have hired a lawyer if she was serious about winning her appeal, she has zero understanding of procedure. She's wasting the court's time and taxpayer money.
I wanna speak to your supervisor! 😆 Karen, if you have to raise your right hand to swear to tell the whole truth, it's not an informal hearing.
Dang the only thing that officer Belknap said wrong is that he might have been more lenient with the Karen because her husband was associated with a police department. That is something you should not admit in court. Everyone should be treated equally based on their actions no matter the situation.
Dammmnn. So much patience!🤦🏼♀️
I'm pretty sure this couple doesn't watch Jeopardy.
GREAT point..!!
The crooked picture in the background is maddening 😂
Officer Belknap seems like a great cop! I think it is great that he has a sense of humor.
I saw three signs in that photo. The sign in the far right indicated “right turn only”. 🤷♀️
It doesn’t have to have letters or words to be a proper traffic sign.
Didn’t we all learn this in driver’s training?
How is that man a cop, but has ZERO clue his trainwreck of a wife broke the law?
WoW This judge is a stone cold fox !!
The prosecutor sounds like he has a hermit crab attached to his tongue.
