Nice laser! Really looked fast. I have a 5w laser that I am learning to use with Lightburn software. Hope to make a kit with it one day. Great demo, by the way.
No need to cut the power, it is a PWM controlled laser, so it will burn at 100%, just in shorter bursts when you lower the power level output, ergo, it doesn't save anything but the time the laser works. Set to 100%, upp the speed, and you finish faster. Lower the output, down the speed, and you finish slower. The time burned (PWM) is about the same for the laser head.

Thanks for the video. Finally, a strong enough laser within my budget.

When using any laser cutter an exhaust outside is recommended
Thanks for producing this review, so interesting. How do you deal with tge exhaust /smoke ?
Opened doors and windows, lol. But I do have a wall exhaust from an old, portable A/C i will use. Just need to make an adapter.
