From the bottom of my heart, I believe that when people are not happy with their own lives and feel powerless to change it, they will suck the life out of the people around them to build up whatever narrative is most soothing to them. When you refuse to play their game, their only option is to either find another victim, or look inward and finally do the work.

I’m a very lucky person and I had this silent feeling that a friend noted it and started hanging around me more when they needed a good outcome for something. Weirdly enough they started getting them and bad things started happening for me! And I knew they knew but wouldn’t say so I distanced myself heavily. Another friend just like them appeared so I’m in a brief period of solitude and boundary solidifying. My energy is mine!
