The Galant VR4 gets more upgrades! OEM Mitsubishi parts, Walbro 225 and ECMlink V3!

- This is an updated video of parts that have been rolling in for the Galant VR4 the past couple of weeks. As some of you may know I ran into some fuel system issues with the Galants after discovering the fuel tank had rust issues inside the tank and the original fuel filler hose from 1991 developed a crack at some point while sitting.
I ordered some new parts to get the fuel system resolved from a couple OEM Mitsubishi parts and thanks to John from @EnjukuRacingParts , a new fuel pump and wiring kit.
While ordering those parts a fantastic opportunity came about locally with a guy selling a ECMlink V3 that I have been wanting for the GVR4 and couldn't pass up on it.
All this has me excited about getting the GVR4 back up and running again so I can enjoy driving it!

Be careful with the Omni map sensor. There’s been a QC issues with the internals being damaged for some reason. My original one from ECMlink and my second one from extremepsi had issues after running them for a bit. I’m on a generic Delphi/ACdelco map sensor and it’s been better so far. I’ll be scratching it though and switching to the AEM bar sensor (Silver body) sometime in the future.

I know I know. I am trying to strategically work on my many projects. I wish I had a huge surplus of funds and time...but unfortunately I don't and have to work with what I have. 😎

I worry about being able to get parts for my 2007 eclipse. I can't imagine trying to find parts for the vr4. Maybe im just not looking in the right places
It's definitely getting harder to find parts especially E39a specific parts. This comes with the territory with older vehicles.
@@itsaboutfam it's worth the struggle when you have A vehicle that is hardly seen anymore. Anyone can drive a Corolla
