Just so you know there is a tool that fits on to the end of the oil filter housing which allows you to drain the oil in the housing before removing it, otherwise you get the mess like your vid shows. The tool is a tube with a fitting at the end to screw into the bottom of housing, I use it all the time. I got mine off Amazon and its called a BGS 9000 | Oil Filter Drain Hose for Oil Filter Cartridges. Should help make this a less messy job👍🏾. Oh and well done on reaching 1K subs, I really enjoy watching your vids even though I don't have a R32🤣

Thanks. But like most mk5 owners that drain plug is rounded off before my ownership so I have no choice but to make a mess lol. Thanks for the comment that might help others out.

Make sure you put some PTFE tape on that valve as it's a tapered thread.

What is the reason for choosing mobil 3000 instead of mobil 1 esp?

I don’t have a reason. I’ve always used it. I’m sure there are better ones out there. It’s just never let me down and affordable.
