I put Audie Murphy as good as Clint Eastwood. and I love Clint Eastwood in and all of his movies. Audie would have kept making movies if he did not get cut short in life.
The cowboy icons are (in no particular order): Audie Murphy, Randolph Scott, John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Jimmy Stewart, Joel McCrea....pure western gold
Your on crack buddy ; Clint Eastwood is and will be one of the top 5 best western movie Actor ever. Audie Murphy maybe in the top 100 nothing less. Every movie he played in seemed like it was not a natural flow as an actor. As a soldier he was a very brave and good man, acting seemed like a cow trying to be a goat, sorry for the silly comparison but a spade is a spade and he just tried to hard to be something not natural to him
Enjoy seeing Audie Murphy ! Terry Moore was good and mostly played in supporting roles of her career. She was an okay actress. Later she claimed to be married to Howard Hughs, but that was not true. But, enjoying the movie 🎥
I have never seen a " true" straight razor, or other shave in a movie that looked anywhere near "realistic" this movie has a prime example. And drinking whiskey like fruit juice, oh and why do movies only pours couple of spoons of coffee...???🤣 And that mysterious "tuck inside the shirt for money... amusing how such goes on for decades... onward thru the fog...✌️🍀🙏🏻🧙🏻♂️
A good western. John Dehner , James Best and a few other familiar faces in the supporting cast to boot. Nice, solid one.
Audie was an excellent actor

Great classic stars 5
My Mount Rushmore of western actors John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Audrey Murphy and Randolph Scott
Forgot Richard Widmark - a far better actor than John Wayne.
Yesterday movies

Remember Bill Tompkins words “ everything we have been taught and told all our lives was a lie “
It's Audie. And that's all you need to know. It's all you'll ever need to know.
Audience was a real war hero before he got in movies
I like Andy Griffiths "Briscoe Darling" as the preacher.
