Great Audie Murphy movie.
Excellent Episode, Acting, Ending.
Just do not appreciate the racism against the Indians in their own land and always being shifted from pillar to post. Many escaped reservations and went to Canada.
Canada borders all of the United States.
How can people were thrown (exiled) from England to America because of their accused criminal activities have the nerve and audacity to call Indians savages?

I feel like all the positive comments were posted by people that hadn’t watched the movie yet.
Sure, Murphy is great in general, but this is definitely not a good movie. They keep doing things that just make zero sense. The movie starts with the Army in a hurry to catch the indians, so they BURN all their supplies and WALK…what? Yeah, don’t use the horses because we’re in a hurry and let’s spend time “hunting for lizards and groundhogs” instead of eating the rations that we brought in the wagon. Y’know, because we’re in a hurry. What the?
About an hour into the movie the Army shows up to stop the miners from slaughtering all the indians, a bit late but they do finally turn up before everyone is killed, and what’s her name runs out between the conflict and screams “No! Kill me first! My mother was a Cherokee!”, which the miners promptly oblige by shooting her…what? She does what? WHAT? WHAT THE ACTUAL F@#$&!?!?
Why do these stupid things happen at all? Why would the characters do this nonsense?
No. This is not a good movie.
