Stains are hard. I work detail operations at a large dealership, and we use professional chemicals, with a power brush, and some of these stains still persist. So it’ll take a lot of work or much more chemical to remove these.
I cleaned my car today with this, because I didn't watch this video before, the result was not as good as I expected. next time i'll be better because this video clarified a lot!
Bought that same product, didn't work very well, but like you touched on it works great for door panels, and helps make a vehicle smell good, but that's about the extent of it.
Really? I did a detail on a 2002 Chevy avalanche that's been with the owner for 15 years and he has had 2 kids he never had it detailed so it was very dirty but I used this on the back seats which i dont even know what was on those and it did such a great job I was quite impressed with it actually but the brush is definitely for display there's really no use for it.
I personally recommend a carpet extractor like the pet stain eraser. It's meant to extract quick pee spots but it's also good for seats, spills, and general cleaning. etc.
Their carnauba spray wax is good but didn't work good for me in a hot humid climate under tree shade. Lots of smearing and trying to buff it out didn't work. I'm assuming it's because of the carnauba.
I used your approach and a similar product and I had to do it 8 different times with both the can and the toothbrush across two separate sittings to get it out. I spent about 1 1/2 hours on just one seat. FML. Never in my life did I put so much work into one project.
Hell it works as a carpet cleaner tok for stains I use it for urine stains due to a puppy and it works hella well and then wipe it off with a damp cloth and suck out the water with a wet vac and it always comes out clean
I think cleaning a small stain can turn into a bigger problem. At least for me. I tried to clean a quater sized juice stain on my honda cr-v seat. It would dry up with the unsightly water stain, I think I might just have to clean the entire seat so that it looks even?
Oh my god this is my dilemma too. Looks even worse than before 🤦♀️ spent 100 on a Bissell extractor and yet still doesn't look good. Would have been cheaper just to go get it detailed and done correctly!
I have the same car with the same color inside and it is the WORST COLOR and FABRIC I have ever HAD!! SHOWS EVERYTHING!! THANK YOU SO SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!! 😉👏👏👏💜✌🙂
I think I'll offer light interior including in my in and out service, and for more stain removals, shampoo carpets and sit cleanings and full interior I'd charge more in the full detail.
I don’t care for this product at all myself. I actually planned on purchasing Super Clean and some spray bottles today. Edit: could you do a video on cleaning cloth interior/carpets with super clean and a wet/dry shop vac rather than an extractor?
haha, yes.. I use to have links but too many non-customers were calling/texting/messaging me that took up too much time. We're in Houston TX. Send me an email to oscar(at)detailgroove(dot)co
You have to give it about 30 to 45secs so the foam can penetrate and also the brush comes off the sprayer, and it won't break. Never been so stressed watching someone use the product super wrong.
Yes, Super Clean is hazardous. The safety data sheet says it causes skin, eye, and inhalation irritation. And it says you have to use gloves. It has OSHA hazard skin and eye classifications of 2 and 2A. Simple Green SDS says no eye, skin or inhalation irritation. It doesn't require gloves. It's not hazardous per OSHA classification. Simple Green is also biodegradable within 60 days and there's not many reports of it damaging surfaces like they are for Super Clean. It's not as effective as Super Clean but the benefits are well worth putting a little extra effort into the cleaning rather than using Super Clean IMO
There must've been a stain deep in the fabric of your seat and it came up to the surface. That's what happened to me. I went ahead and pressure washed the seats with a ton of turtle wax product onto the seats. Worked wonders
Blessed9-21-12 o yeah drill brushes are 🔥 but this video is for the very casual don’t won’t to order anything off amazon just go to Walmart type of guy lol
Because it's like coffee or a chocolate milk stain it needs to be extracted. If you don't have an extractor .which you can do is clean it the way he did reapply it and let it sit on their wet drive to your local car wash and it should have shampooer machine there and then repeat the same process but buy extracting it.
You kind of answered your own question think about what a stain is . A stain is something that works it this way into a fabric upholstery or in some type of carpeting or discolored some type of fabric or martial. The chemical that you're using to remove the stain you wanna apply it and work it into the fabric into the Upholstery into the foam to get better results of pulling it out. But the real question is knowing how to identify what the slain and problem is so that you can treat it properly so going to your Box store to get this type of product won't hurt anything but if you know what the stain is you'll have a better outcome of knowing how to treat it.
If you’re going to start a detail company don’t you need insurance? What if you mess up something in someone’s car? Or what if they blame you for something that was already there?
Insurance is good business practice. I recommend you make your first $5,000 and then go look for insurance. There's no point in getting a van/shop, insurance, uniforms, and have ZERO money or customers
So I have watched several of your videos, keep it up! Quick question. I started a side detail business to save for our first house, my question is, what’s the best way to clean/shampoo/ remove stains from seats from vehicles like the newer Toyota’s who use that super tight weave non fibrous material. I usually have to end up trying it by hand and micro fibers to try them. I first practiced on my wife’s 2015 corolla with that stupid light tan interior. I used my bosses spot clean pro extractor and it just seems to leave water rings. The seats suck up water and product like a wick and seem to take forever to dry. Looking for suggestions for someone like me on a budget who doesn’t have the money for a mytee extractor nor the vehicle size to pack one. I just want to make sure I don’t over saturate or when the seat dries it leaves water rings or the stain comes back. Thanks so much!!
The heated spot cleaners you can get even from Walmart or wherever should be wayyyy more efficient than anything by hand. The heated water also dries a lot faster I’ve noticed. But if you don’t have the budget for that use a shop vac to get out all the moisture you can, small attachments to get into the nooks on seats are pretty cheap
Not a big fan of consumer grade product because it not economical friendly compare to super clean which you can use it multiple time compare to single use.
This product left a water mark where the stain in my car was. I’m very upset about it. And I tried to submit a review on the turtle wax website but they kept telling me no. But it’s a horrible product from my experience. I would give it 0 stars if possible.
Commerical grade× sorry i have a thing about correct English, which is weird...i can't spell and speak proper English my damn self.🤷 thanks for the vid.. Just wondering what's a good product to clean my car with..
You can try Super Clean (diluted 3 to 1) which is a very low cost product. If that doesn't work, Adam's Polishes Carpet and Upholstery cleaner should get it out.
This would have worked much better if you let the product soak in for at least 5 minutes. Then a quick scrub and wipe. Then do it again if need be. You scrubbed it too soon.
The green brush on the turtle spray most definitely detaches
And scratches the material
Does a tutorial and doesn’t read instructions. Nice
