Great reaction. This was a Japan exclusive track on the second album, the international edition had 'From Dusk Till Dawn' instead (and if you haven't seen that look for the Budokan 2021 performance - it is completely different but I like both songs as much as each other).
They have only ever played this live outside of Japan one time - that was in 2019 in Brixton, London. We couldn't believe our ears when the heartbeats started sounding, the whole crowd went wild.
Su-metal said she couldn't believe everybody knew the song as it had never been released outside of Japan.

They got tickets and are doing a meet and greet. I have that image in my head. Probably in a grocery store parking lot with tons of cheap swill beer. When the cops show up to kick them out, Speta will end up in jail screaming "I know my rights." and will miss the show.

'Syncopation' is a killer high energy track.
IMO, pretty much a flawless blend of guitars and vocals.
Most of that compilation footage featured Kano Fujihira as the supporting dancer, but there were a few scenes with Momoko Okazaki (now officially MOMOMETAL).
This is what producer Koba said in a 2016 interview:
Q: Of all the songs in this album wouldn’t you say that ‘Syncopation’ has the most Japanese feel to it?
Kobametal: Yes, I would agree to that.
And that is why on the overseas edition we put a different song in its place.
On the Japanese edition we wanted to present an ever more Japanese quality to it and so this song was included.
On the overseas edition in place of ‘Syncopation’ we have instead included the song ‘From Dusk Till Dawn’.
(Of course as it turns out, Western audiences love this song as well.)
Nice reaction. Momometal finally got her mic card for their last show. Yeah. Years ago, Babymetal was one of those early bands at Sonisphere. They were worried that no one was there to see them. This being their first visit to England. And not really knowing what to expect. They got a glimpse of the crowd but from where they were looking, they didn't see anyone. Babymetal always does the best they can, no matter the size of the crowd or venue. They were very surprised when they got on the stage and the audience was full. This Uk crowd was known for not treating bands they didn't like very well. I think shocked at first to what they were actually seeing. But as Su has put it. It was like wave that went through the crowd as more and more people started getting into their performance. A moment in time that changed the music world. Things could have gone very differently. But Su told us. All things are possible through Babymetal. And after performing that miracle at Sonisphere. I can see why they believe that. And all these years later Babymetal still surprises us with the amazing things they can do. Like Syncopation. It's not easy to play or sing or dance off the beat. And yet they made it look like a normal everyday thing. I always like the dance part where they sway and look like they're strumming a guitar. Total air guitar style. Until next time. See You.

I firmly believe that "Syncopation" is one of their best songs objectively. Not even my favorite style (I'm 100% "Arkadia", so to speak) but this is so good that deserves a place among my top favorites... easily top 5 (and that's saying a lot).

This was a compilation of a few shows, since I saw both Kano and Momoko as an avenger together with SU and Moa!
They have worked with a lot of different musicians, but usually they have the Eastern Kami Band that 90% of the times is the same Drummer, same Bassist, and 2 out of 3 guitarists, or if they are playing outside Asia from 2019 they added the western Kami Band, that it's always the same 4 musicians.
They have been pretty consistent, with some exceptions when someone already is busy elsewhere

Syncopation is another banger one, and with the already mature side on Metal Resistance 2nd album.
Our queen and princesses are undecided, like a syncopated heart, if they are really in love, is kinda like you said.
Syncopation was the track exclusively for Japanese album while "From Dusk Till Dawn" was released for International version of Metal Resistance (of course that's my next recommendation if you didn't already, live at Budokan 2021 is the only proshot version), although later on they performed this song outside of Japan because is a banger with more rock sound rather than metal.
Along with Karate, is one of those songs many fans got that anime vibes, for me Karate would be the opening and Syncopation the ending, although it works like an opening too. Till this day those were the only BM songs with that anime vibes for me, but after the new single DA - Shingeki comes out, now i got three songs.
This is a live compilation with footage of live concerts after YuiMetal left the group during "avenger" era, Momoko Okazaki and Kano Fujihira (mostly) are the avengers filling the third spot as a backup dancer. The Kami Band after 2019 live concerts always wear masks, but you can enjoy a version without mask and with YuiMetal dancing live at Tokyo Dome 2016.

Syncopation is an awesome track, but because it was the Japan exclusive track from Metal Resistance, barring one exception (Brixton Academy, London, 2019), they only play it live in Japan. For some reason, Koba thought that it was "too Japanese" for western fans, so the international version of the album has 'From Dusk Til Dawn', which is also a good song, but Syncopation is a certified banger.
This is one of my favorite Babymetal songs!! So much fun and catchy and technical!!!

I have seen Babymetal at festivals, with the crowd dead for all the preceding acts, including some well known ones like The Pretty Reckless. But when Babymetal hits the stage, the crowd lights up. Their energy is palpable. There were a couple festivals where the first mosh pits of the day were for Babymetal.

One slight error in an otherwise great reaction: You mentioned near the end that Momoko, now Momometal, was in this video and she was not, in point of fact. The Avenger in this video was Kano, who I think was like 14 or 15 when she went on tour with the girls in 2019 in Asia. The other two, Riho and Momoko, were with them the rest of the tour around the world, but Kano was strictly Asia, I think because of her age, so they limited her being away from home and such.

Nice reaction as usual! This song is about a girl thinking about the possibilities of love and it's just burning her up! Especially the thumping heartbeat at the start make this song work for me personally, even tho it isn't one of my favourites.
