To me the main factor behind these packs which you didn’t touch on is Intended use. If you play only xball the carbon might be great but it’s clear you aren’t really putting those pods back in while playing. So if you do Rec ball or big games or hyper ball or mounds where you want to be able to quickly put your empty pod back In. the packs like the bunker kings fly are in my opinion the best.
do you have any opinion on the hk army zero g 2.0 for rec and woodsball games? You made a great point about the importance of reviewing the feature of being able to put your empty pods back in during a game
I have a bk fly pack as well. By far the best all around pod pack. For comfort, durability, colorways, overall size and weight, and it not flopping all over the place while running. I sinch it pretty tight, but it stays put up against my back the entire time. It doesn't move an inch and im a really fast sprinter. It is a bit on the more expensive end, but I know it will stand the test of time. The seams and stitching are super well done and the proprietary Velcro it uses is basically the best Velcro you can buy. Having the 4 pieces that Velcro over waist is also the best way to keep things snug.
@@MichaelSaunier I am interested in the zero gx pod pack that the just released but at 109 dollars I can’t justify the price until I get to see one physically in my hands. Over all I’ve never been pleased with anything hk in their soft goods line. In my experience seems rip colors fade and their soft goods including things like their marker cases break down way to fast.
@@jeruncan thanks for your feedback. I saw that new pack as well but I’m not sure how easy it would be to reinsert pods in middle of a game. I have a couple of their products like the expand backpack, hardline shirt, trk air joggers, knit hat, and so far things have held up well but time will tell. I think I’m leaning towards the fly pack based on your feedback and I’ll see if I can ask some guys at the field about other packs that are easy to get the pods back in. Cheers!
@@MichaelSauniergot one play rec and woodsball and speedball a lot the four main pod holders are super easy to get pods in and out of super secure and comfy

Well I did love it 2 weeks ago, I played twice a week, and I am a bigger guy. That being said, that belt rolls like crazy, and it's already showing signs of over stretching problems. I do tend to pull my packs extra tight, I'm carrying seven pods all together in a five plus harness, but those really thin secondary support straps are just not doing it. I switched back to my old empire podpack.
I got to say everything you guys called out as being weak points, was spot on.
Watched it all. I appreciate the honest opinions both of you give. I have a carbon cc 5+ harness and love it. Looking at getting a backup one.
I've played every weekend this year using the HK Magtek and the only part that has worn out is the velcro on the belt, not the harness itself.But that is also being a stocky boi using 5+whatever
Love my infamous pro dna harness, use it every weekend and have never had a pod slip out and I’m diving snake and crawling around pretty often

I love my carbon pack and my bunkerking packs
HK zero g-x seems to be the best pod pack imo. Really a fan of the backstrap that compresses and minimizes your frame as you pull out pods
I have about 50k plus balls thru my punish pod pack. And the Velcro to hold the pods in are starting to show use. Back up is the HK one and I’m not a huge fan of the hk. Pods are why to tight getting out. I’ll stick with my punisherPB pack. And will pick another one up next time I’m in Ohio and I run some points with the team.

Pb rack has magnet and Velcro.
Carbon carbon sc not worth it, I have owned 2 already and each time they ripped at the pod pocket, I definitely recommend the carbon cc!

I bought a magtek and went to the field with 5 pods and came home with 2 pods.
I was using the virtue 165 pods maybe 165 is too big for magtek 2 pods fell out and the spring broke and the 3rd one was lost.
I just bought the reflex pro dna and I’ll be using it tomorrow.
I just had the same problem tonight using basic gxg pods. How do you like the reflex a year later? I was looking at the virtue pack
