    The hk metal speed feeds for the rotor/ltr and the r2 and both a huge step up over the dye rubber speed feeds. Ive personally never had issues with my rotors jamming and i play a ton with my space mechs ripping.
    Other than that every point you brought up is spot on

    CTRL. All about that profile. had mine for 2-3 years and no problems.

      Have a Spire 5..BEAST HOPPER...never ever has jammed like my rotors.
      I dont like how big my spire 5 is I can't see the field that well and can't find a sweet spot to hold it without losing field vision.
      Question to you is Spire 5 or CTRL loader? Will I know i notice a huge difference in weight & field vision?

      @@bobbycorps7891 I find the CTRL to be perfect. I have not used a Spire V but the 4 seems alittle fatter and taller. Weight is about the same, as in I don’t notice a weight change.
      Once thing to note is the CTRL is smaller if you try to fill and it is not damn near empty, you’ll have some extra paint from a standard pod.

    It is 165$ for the black ctrl loader. Ramps are $10. And most people already have a speed feed they can put on it.
    It is the lightest and most low profile loader out of them all btw. Which is why I got it.
    Super nice loader with lots of cool little stylish touches. def a bit silly the ramps don’t come w/ it tho.
    The angle sensors for laning are for practice and not for during a game.
    It is my main loader and I’m getting an HK sonic for my back up

    I have all these loaders except the Hk ones and the Vmax Plus is probably the best bang for the buck and highly underrated. It does 17 plus bps, it can be taken apart without tools, and virtue makes a legit speed feed for it. You also have to push the rain lid forward to open it lol. Fun fact, the guy who designed the VL egg made the Vmax. My fave is my control in leopard tho.

    Awsome vid. Just wanted to say still using my OG rotor since 2009 and mine is very reliable not too much jamming at all maybe one or two time when i play and that's like 2000 to 2500 shots

    Absolutely agree with you guys, you spend those $250 and from the box to the gear bag from the gear bag to the field and from the field to the gear bag again, it just works fine, mine has been flawless since day one, and it also looks awesome with mi setup, a black spireV (Less is more!)

    My LTR is a POS it jams every 70 balls and it got me switched to a 100 round gravity hopper now. Switching to either HK sonic or ir2. I’ve tried the tension high, low, and medium, and mixed in between each settings it’s just too finnicky for a non-sponsored player. I will say it’s durable as hell tho almost impossible to break 9:56

    • @BAGofTALENT

      Do yourself a big favor and get the IR 2 , the sonic is trash it feeds like crap and they even said it the thing just can't keep up ,that ribbon system is terrible.the IR 2 eye system is time tested bulletproof and it will never jam and just work everytime. I consistently shred up to 15bps without skipping a beat and it can be taken apart in 2 seconds for easy cleaning. It's not even close spire by a mile

  • @paintballtennisman

    The ltr and the r2 added a little black finger on the feed hook that helps keep the smaller paint of today from rolling up the hook and jamming under the black piece. That’s the biggest difference. My older rotors jam like crazy with modern paint and the ltrs and r2s on my team have no issue.

    • @MrBottlecapBill

      I used to run my rotor with a virtue soft cycle installed that was an attempt to do that same thing. It worked decent but still had a jam once in a while with really small paint. The truth is though, I've had jams with every hopper type out there usually when the weather causes your paint shells to get a bit too soft. On the spires it's when you're playing rec and getting a lot of shell frags dumping into your hopper through the speed feed where they can jam under the feed cone stopping it cold. I've had that happen a couple times but it's rare.

    • @paintballtennisman
      @paintballtennisman 9 месяцев назад

      @@MrBottlecapBillpaint isn’t the same these days. I think it was hinmann who talked about how they used to add a specific kind of wax to the shell ribbon which made the paint brittle and resist humidity. They no longer do this for cost reasons which is why paint gets mushy in humid weather.

    Ran ir2 , would out shoot it with mech all day.
    Run dye ltr, great for mech , just clunky and heavy .
    If dye would make a smoother running system I would be all over it.
    Have a tfx3 as back up, no issues yet .

    Most of my team had issues with our rotor loaders while we were at Supergame and I have had jamming with my ltr loaders during normal games too. I have been running Spire loaders since then.

    Coming back to paintball from being out of the game since the halo/rotor 15bps times.
    I’ve got to say the virtue spire loaders look cool but they seem to be total junk.
    How could you pick a loader that needs to be taped down/rubber banded so the shell doesn’t come apart after a hard slide?
    Yeah the halo takes a bit more time to open, but it sure af doesn’t blow up during regular gameplay.
    So silly that there are people out there paying $200 for an unreliable loader. Bonkers

  • @BAGofTALENT
    @BAGofTALENT 9 месяцев назад +2

    The spire IR2 is by far the best option for $100 and when on sale $80 . Easily keeps up at 15bps even though we all play 10.2 and it can be broken down for cleaning in 3 seconds. It just always works , stay away from sonic and speed they are trash
