Will the switch on the board, that stops the motor, be triggered with this upgrade in? Looked like it feed continuously even though you stopped the impeller
The rotor senses when there is a torque load between the paddles and the tray - determined by the spring tension set. So, the spring tension determines how much torque is applied to the ball stack before the tray rotates far enough to activate the microswitch. This is fundamentally unchanged by this design - it simply drops the lower planetary gear arrangement and uses a more direct drive. You can still get jams, but the failure mode is almost always clearable via the shark fin.
Pretty cool! I've never had any jams with my LTR after turning the tension down, but this would be fun to try. Curious to see how they perform.
Even with tension down, I’ve had some issues with the R1. Mostly when we end up with like around .680 paint and once even less than that.
For40 bucks is going to be a tough sale.
Especially considering I've never had any issues with my R2 or LTR.
Yea I hear ya. It's half the price of a full hopper like the IR2, LTR or Sonic which are more than enough to feed 10.5.
if you have any reballs can you please make a vid shooting reballs with it. im interested if it can feed reballs 10.5 bps, nice video man!

Yea it actually works. Just the amount of resistance is determined by what you set the tension spring to.
With this upgrade does that mean the rotors won't be force feed hopper anymore? I'm worried it won't keep up with my N3
It’s still force fed. The lower part rotates when paints in there to provide stack tension.
Where to get it at. Are there any PB websites selling it?
Only available directly from FreeFlow
Sadly its sold out right now
Where do I get one
directly from FreeFlow
Wish I had seen this before buying a Spire V just for reball. 🤦
Yea i hear ya with that one. I wish this came out sooner since I bought other loaders for small balls
Link please
i added it in the description but it's www.freeflowtechnology.com
