This was one of the first accessories to my JT last summer. I mount my phone and Yaesu radio head. Highly recommended!

I didn't realize that this was 2 years ago, probably about the time I purchased my Gladiator Rail system. Using it for my SPOD LCD screen, my phone and considering adding another one for my wireless winch remote, great product no issues with it since I installed it.
LOVE my 67 Design mount once I finally could get my hands on one, now that you’ve made this video 67 is going to be sold out indefinitely.

Hey Shaun...just sub'd your channel this week...love your vids. In your dash mounted perspective, it does look like the camera is stable while your rig swings side-to-side...is that a feature of the GoPro Hero 9?

67D makes a Ram Ball Mount. i use it on my Garmin Overlander GPS.

Nice product from 67 designs and looks great. I went with the RAM design in my 2020 JL Willys and have been very happy with it to hold my phone (Note 10+ 5G), ID-5100A faceplate and mic holder. Pro tip: Turn your phone sideways to landscape so you don't block the dash vent. I also like landscape because I can open two mapping apps in split-screen view (Google maps for navigation, and Backcountry Navigator Pro for waypoints or Garmin Earthmate when using the inReach mini). I have room on the rail to add a Garmin dash cam and may be doing that soon (Phoenix, AZ traffic...). Peace! Pete - KI7LIL

How’s the phone mount? I had one in my JK and the phone shaking like a leaf drove me insane so I went with a proclip. Now with my Gladiator I’m leaning towards the 67 designs system since I prefer the mounting options over the proclip
I got my wife one a couple years back. One thing we learned very quickly is if you have a larger phone the magna mount won’t hold the phone, it just slides off with the bumps. 67 said oh well, you can get another mount if you wanna spend more money. Thanks, I’ll stick to the Walmart mount from now on.
The 67 Designs phone mount I used is a clamp not magnetic.
Love it only issue is where I want it to clamp grab my Galaxy S20+ is on the volume control so have phone higher than I like...
Do you think the magnet impedes the effectiveness of the Garmin device?
Which gopro are using? & how does it perform like for shooting the videos & downloading?
Looks great. Do you use USB cables with your GoPro's or just run with the batteries? Any thoughts on how to clean up the cable runs?
I just run batteries and keep a spare charging at all times.

Theres no special setup, GoPros have built in image stabilization.

Is the phone enough for the navigation maps? I think that a bigger display would be more helpful. What is your opinion?
I run Gaia on my Samsung S9 phone and it works - but I do wish I was able to run it on a larger display sometimes.
I started using my phone only for maps and its fine and I like always having my maps with me when I am not in my Jeep if I need to look at something. I don't see the need for a dedicated tablet.

I have a fairly large phone so it works fine for me. I don't like having a huge tablet mounted to my dash.

You can get a t-slot adapter from 67 Designs to mount some wireless chargers if they have a t slot on the back.

@@AButlerr Good eye, I actually noticed that as well. Since I wheel in the snow as well as in the dunes I definitely like my dash vents a lot. I live in the Portland Oregon area, luckily no Vegas heat.
Well you can move the mounts along the track to wherever you'd like, as well as move the phone up or down. Blocking the vent isn't an issue to me so that position is fine.
@@AButlerr the desert heat smokes the phone battery to though so it’s nice to keep the phone cool. My phone is in an Otter Box so it’s huge and I haven’t noticed any reduced comfort due to the vent being blocked.
Sweet setup Shaun! Only problem is....I’ve been trying to order a set for almost a year and it is constantly saying sold out. Not sure why they are promoting something they don’t carry. End rant.
We do carry. We update every Sunday evening at 6PM CST and have noted across the site and in the KB.

I have a 67 designs phone holder I love but I use it on anvil overland bar. It’s hands down the best I’ve seen!
