Oh no... Over the Edge?? NO OWEN!!!
    🥺😖😫😭
Man, so we lost Rick Rude and Owen that close together?? Geez what're the odds.. This is the worst few weeks of what was supposed to be the best years of Pro Wrestling for some of us growing up. Sad times my friends 💔
    🙏🏼 RIP 💙 Rick Rude 🤟🏽
    Owen Hart 🩷🖤🤍

Rest in power to Rick Rude, & I’m not looking to forward to Over the Edge ‘99, it broke my heart as a child when I read about the circumstances of Owen’s death & coupled with the fact that it was on the day I was born gave me an eerie feeling,Long live the king of Hearts ❤️

I can't even begin to explain how damn underrated "Ravishing Rick Rude" was. He was the total package and should've been WWF champion back in the day 🏆. The phrase "Often imitated but never duplicated" is so true when it comes to Rick Rude. Val Venis tried the gimmick with the porn star element attached to it in the Attitude Era but it wasn't the same. There will only be one Rick Rude. RIP to the "Ravishing One" 😢🕊️🌹🙏🏼.

I was at Nitro this night with like 3 or 4 friends. The title changes were good matches and a big surprise. More than anything else though I remember all the standing around the live audience did during the Flair segments. The segments would be thrown to AND followed by commentary which you can’t hear when you’re there live. They would happen following or before commercial breaks. Some were back from commercial to commentary, throw to Flair segment, back to commentary to another commercial break. There were times we stood there for 15 minutes without anything happening in the arena.

Man, the decline of WCW is just so sad to see. Russo didn't kill the company, but he sped its demise. We still have the arrival of Russo to come as well as the disaster for WCW that was 2000 in general. I got sad when it was mentioned the Godfather will face Owen Hart at the next PPV.
