Hey everyone. The info in this video is pretty outdated already ; the OHF donation amount is now over £2k! I will likely make the donation at the end of this month instead. Will keep you all posted. Thanks to everyone who bought a shirt, sent a superchat or just watched the videos.
You said thank you to the fans for being cool. You're welcome dude. Your show and commentary is Fun, enjoyable. And. You're like a brother who loves Wrestling. And Funny AF. later
Hello, my name is Benny Gordon and I actually work for a few wrestling companies in Colorado as a referee. A little after I started training, I started watching this series in mid 2022 and have been watching ever since. From that period all the way until October of 2023, I used to ref every Thursday, so I would be listening to new episodes of Reliving The War on the way to the company I work at which would get me even more excited to ref. This series even helped me answer a fellow wrestler's question about Goldust's shattered dream finisher. I just wanted to say my thank yous and give you the flowers you deserve for such an entertaining and well put together series.
I absolutely went to the Nitro Grill. My grandparents lived in Vegas when I was a kid, and I cajoled my dad into taking me. I got the Macho Man Nachos and took a picture with one of Flair's robes. The waiters were dressed as referees and did not look happy to be there.
I was at this Nitro. During the commercial break after Macho Man attacked Nash, Nash got on the mic and said "Hey Mach, $hits on", a little nod to what he did the next week.
I love the class you showed with covering the Owen stuff. You didn't have to do that but just the fact that you did shows that you aren't just a great RUclipsr but a great person as well.
I can just imagine the thought going through his head, ‘I paid to watch this?’ But more importantly I just noticed the guy to the right and down from red shirt guy, that drop kick was so singular that he immediately gets on the phone to call somebody!
Hey man, I just want to say that this show is the highlight of my week. Life is pretty crappy in general and it’s nice to have something fun to look forward to. I know I’m not alone I’m feeling this way. This is a great community and reading the comments every week is half the fun. Just wanted to say thanks.
I absolutely bought a Horsemen shirt today! I live about 45 mins from Greensboro, and I'll be attending Sting's retirement match in that sweet merch to take care of Horsemen business down at the Coliseum next month at Revolution.
The TV ratings battle likely wasn't addressed due to the circumstances of Raw Is Owen, but if anyone is curious, Raw jumped to a 7.2 this week and Nitro fell to a 3.1
i cant be the only one who's face lights up when the new reliving the war drops.... makes me feel like a teenager all over again. thank you for your amazing work on these.
Just bought two shirts man! You are the best RUclipsr. No drama, no hate, just love! Watch every video you ever make. Was hard to watch the last couple but I’ll support you since you are supporting a great cause. Love your community!
I find it interesting that the new blood vs millionaires club (it’s technically not but hear me out) storyline or vibe I could say started all the way back in May 99. A reason I love this series is seeing things that happened way before it would eventually become huge or seeing the seeds of an idea lay that would eventually blossom.
I had a horrible day, I'm sick, I can't stop puking...but Rappin' Curt Hennig and your unbridled joy from watching David Flair do what he calls wrestling gave me the strength to make it at least one more day.
I was able to eat at the Nitro Grill when I was younger. Its was fun. It was standard Hard Rock style food. They had past PPVs playing on TVs. Wish there were still places like it today.
Love this episode, most definitely love the shirts, it's a must buy for me 💯 damn I'm from Greenville and was 14 years old, I remember this night like yesterday, I still wish I was there that night SMFH!!!!
I ate lunch at the Nitro Grill in May 2000. Food was very much like a Hard Rock Cafe or Planet Hollywood. I had the glasses our cocktails were served in for 15 plus years. Drinks had wrestling related names like Power-slam rum punch and Big Sexy on the Beach or something.
Great content as always and, thanks for the laughs with the David Flair match much needed after reliving the Owen stuff and, the tragedy that happened here in Kansas city yesterday tookmy mind off stuff.
I’ve religiously watched your videos on Thursdays but a busy holiday season caused me to miss a few months. But on returning the first video I saw was the over the edge then the raw is Owen both had my grown ass crying… love your videos love your community.. thanx for being consistent in what you do
David Flair vs. El Dandy I give a 10/10 on the best match of the year. Thank you WB for what you have done with this series and your contribution to the Owen Hart Family and Foundation.
THANK YOU WrestlingBios! The Raw is Owen episode was impossible to get through for me :) couldn't stop getting emotional. You're awesome for what you're doing
I've fallen way behind so playing catch up thru the playlist. And the was the best way to do it considering what happened. Look forward to see how much you made for the foundation.
RIP Owen heart I love watching this series I wish it was more than one day a week I understand it’s a lot and I know you have other things to do but I appreciate you doing this thank you
I did actually eat at the Nitro Grill. I remember the food being fine, nothing spectacular, but the restaurant was pretty much empty. This would have been 1999 or possibly 2000. Can’t remember much else except buying a Ric Flair pin for my uncle was a huge fan
I actually went to this show as it was my first-ever live event, WCW or WWF. From what I remember, the atmosphere felt very different after Owen's death the night before. In fact, whenever Sting came out to help Buff, he came through the crowd, instead of from the rafters like he usually did. Also, after Savage attacked Nash and covered his face with lipstick, he left to a chorus of boos. However, Big Sexy got back up and said something to the extent of 'If this is how you're going to play this, then sh*t's on.' While it wasn't the greatest wrestling show I've ever been to, it was my first and only WCW show, which made it memorable in that respect.
Just want to say I love your channel and you’re a jam up guy for doing this for Owen. I was watching the night he died and it had always stuck with me.
Loved the live reaction to the David Flair match, easily a new segment I'd love to see when applicable... I still miss those Chinlocks though, nothing will replace them.
It was Thursday night and you know what that means! Reliving the War is back. And here we have what happened on WCW Nitro the night after the tragedy of Owen Hart's fatal accident. A class act you have been in this whole thing Ryan I must say.
Hell yea we have an amazing community going on here! Reliving the War brings us all together to nostalgia-bait and remember better times in wrestling. Proud of all you that have donated or bought shirts in memory of Owen Hart! Cant wait to see what the total is that gets sent over to the foundation from all us

Amazing work my guy 🤙
This has been one of my favorite YT channels for years, and seeing the respect put into the Owen videos just elevates to a higher level for me.
Seeing the response for the Owen videos kinda gives me a little hope for humanity. R.I.P. Owen James Hart
Best part is its like 5000 in cdn bucks!!
Congrats to reliving the war Legend Steve “ Mongo” McMicheal for making the NFL Hall of Fame
It's nice, but it was a sympathy vote. If he was a HoFer, he would've gotten in 20 years ago.
It’s crazy how the illness regressed him to what he looks like today
@@g-dub5272life can be a cruel joke sometimes...
I’m so happy that Mongo is getting this honor. Really wish it’d happened before the illness progressed to this point, but it’s a well deserved honor.
Congrats
"... and we have a DQ finish in Nitro's main event". Probably the most common phrase over the last few years of this show.
“Folks, we are out of time…see you next week!”
Oh, thanks for ruining it! Spoilers man.
😂😂😂😂
David " Nothing but air " Flair. I did have secondhand embarrassment seeing that drop kick.
He needs a logo now like Air Jordan 😂 but just a silhouette of him just standing there lol
need some david flair merch
@@WillFeral420 Legit lol'd at this
@@WrestlingBios I smell some sort of David Flair merch incoming 😂
Samoa Joe stealing from David Flair
The David Flair reactions are a contender for future Wrestling Bios GOAT segments.
That drop toehold and drop kick are just otherworldly.
Looking forward to the eventual "David Flair in 1999 & 2000" supercuts from Wrestling Bios.
😂
I wanna see a compilation of David Flair no selling in videos made by him, so that I can send it to Ross.
I LEGIT felt the breeze on that Dandy drop kick.
Not gonna lie. It happened a lot when I played WWF Smackdown 2 😆
The David Flair segments are quickly becoming my favourite part of this show lmao
David Flair's matches are becoming my favourite part of Reliving the War
I'm at a point to looking for David Flair matches every week and not caring for the rest of the shows. 😂😂😂
Did he die?
@@negrosuave9315 He's still alive. You're thinking of his brother Reid Flair, who died of an overdose in 2013.

After how heavy the OTE and Raw is Owen episodes where, we all needed that Dropkick
Last week I managed to find the Owen Hart Hart Of Gold DVD at a local CEX shop for £8. I bought it straight away.
Lucky you these WWE DVDs will harder to find now that WWE have stopped producing them I expect their prices will go up on Amazon and eBay

Absolutely dying at Mr Perfect's rap remix 😂😂😂
I love the class you showed with covering the Owen stuff. You didn't have to do that but just the fact that you did shows that you aren't just a great RUclipsr but a great person as well.
I've just spent the last 5 minutes laughing at David Flairs no sell on that drop kick from el dandy. No wonder it kept getting replayed 😂
IDK why, but the blank expression on the face of the red shirt guy in the background watching the El Dandy drop kick just has me rolling!
I can just imagine the thought going through his head, ‘I paid to watch this?’
But more importantly I just noticed the guy to the right and down from red shirt guy, that drop kick was so singular that he immediately gets on the phone to call somebody!
Mate I have been in tears at the drop kick section. “David Flair, you mad man” killed me 😂
Real classy of DDP & Bam Bam with their respects to Owen despite being Heels at the time.
Hearing wrestling bios break every time we see David flair wrestle will never stop being funny

We got a new meme on this channel :)
His face in this one remind me of Brutus Beefcake 😆
That David Flair match and your commentary were gold 😂
Went to the Nitro Cafe in Vegas on a family vacation when I was about 10. I remember getting the "Goldberger"
I’m busting out laughing watching the dandy flair match 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 we need more of these funny David flair moments wrestling bios great work man
The Curt Hennig rap is hilarious 😂
The footage of "The Dropkick" needs to be incorporated into the RTW intro. Classic.
Wrestling Bios needs a Botchamania-style intro for Reliving the War, with all the memes from the series.
The TV ratings battle likely wasn't addressed due to the circumstances of Raw Is Owen, but if anyone is curious, Raw jumped to a 7.2 this week and Nitro fell to a 3.1
Ouch
The unedited Flair matches are rapidly becoming my favorite parts of RTW
The greatest dropkicks known to man.
Curt Hennig rap "song" is an instant classic. Had me busting my gut with laughter.
The Curt Hennig bit absolutely creased me. That's excellent. 😂
These david flair match commentaries have me in tears 😂😂😂😂😂😂

I love the way El Dandy looks at the ref after that dropkick.
17:00-17:40 Oh my God it's happening! The best storyline from 1999 WCW!
That killed me "That dropkick doesn't work for me brother" 😅😅😂
Had a rough few hours today due to stressful life stuff. Really needed this. Thanks Bios
This video took me 36 minutes to watch because I kept rewinding the David Flair match… Hilarious… I look forward to his match every week lmao
Wow, David Flair was absolutely brutal. For all the focus on the dropkick spot, it's that drop toehold which absolutely slays me. 😂
Let's jam it up. I look forward to this every week
