I loved the look of Brixham and enjoyed the video thank you. I am now inspired to do a tour of different parts of Devon. I realised since watching different places in Devon l had driven through it on the way to Cornwell but never stayed in Devon.
More of the beautiful area of Devon here in Brixham and it has the most scenic views of the quayside some interesting buildings and it's just a magnificent place especially with the nice weather there and as always thank you for another great tour.🇬🇧👋
Just a few words of appreciation for your latest videos. You must work pretty darned hard to produce them. I imagine it's not only the filming, but you must also spend a lot of time planning, reading and taking notes. It is much appreciated, you invoke memories and stir up dreams. Thanks mate 👏👏👏
Well this just came at the perfect moment as I’ve currently got a busted up knee, am exhausted, and just had to do a 6k walk 🤣🤣🤣 Much appreciated - you put a smile back on my face
I really appreciate your video, thanks for posting it, I saw mr.Alwyn Crawshaw included one of the scenes of this video in his paintings and I have that specific book with me so I really enjoyed your video, God bless you.
I used to deep sea fish from here 30+ years ago, every 3 weeks or so, and like most places in Britain, Brixham seems to have deteriorated to commercialism; the marina wasn't there then, just the breakwall (without that glass & concrete monstrocity of a building next to the fish market), working fishing boats coming and going and a view right out to sea, whilst you ate your chips etc. Now your view is massively restricted by a marina with hundreds of 'rich boys' sailing boats, bobbing and doing nothing; blocking the view out to sea, how boring is that!
Brixham looks absolutely gorgeous. Take me there now 😅. The harbour and colourful houses 🏘️ up the hill reminds me of Hastings. Lovely beach 🏖️ and working fishing 🎣 fleet. Thanks a million Neil 👍
My favourite holiday destination from being a young lad I'll always treasure my time being here in 1978/79 for 2 weeks holiday loved every single second of it
What a great video, my daughter lives in Brixham, I always feel calm and relaxed there, love to amble down to the lighthouse and then sit by the breakwater, I walk her dog at first light , it's the best part of the day, usually we find ourselves at the Bay Coffee Company for our early treat, this video has made me want to be there ❤
Brixham is a beautiful place to stay and go for a holiday as well as fish and chips and the hotel shops pubs and walking round the shops and the docks and seeing the boats and going out for a ride in a boat trip thanks Neil
While on holiday nearby, I went to the Pirate Festival in May. It was fabulous. So many people dressed up and made the atmosphere a lovely place to be. Perfect for everyone.
@@GimbalWalkTV awesome! You'll have a fab time, Jack Sparrow is often seen stumbling amongst the crowds and Davy Jones too have been spotted! Plenty of pirates and wenches, even get to go on the visiting pirate ship that comes to Brixham once a year. The community really comes together for it and people travel from all around!
Thank you for Brixham one of my fave places used to come a lot when i was young not been for about 4 years now want to go back perhaps next year love the video Neil x
I love a Brixham such a beautiful place. In general Devon is breathtaking . Then the government have go and ruin it by dumping raw sewage in the water. What were they thinking?

I love Brixham. If I could buy a live aboard boat, I'd happily retire and end my days there.
You have great taste!

Me and the wife went onto the golden hind many, many, many years ago. Also featured in an episode of worzell gummidge.
Amazing! I loved Worzel!
@@GimbalWalkTV The episode is called the saucy Nancy. Played by babara Windsor. They are photo's inside the golden hind.

Your description of STUNNING sorry doesn't match mine....but you have a skill at producing quality vids.
Thank you!
What an arrogant backwards comment
Even the red devils free fall team dropped into Brixham harbour in I think 2012 for lifeboat day

DON'T DRINK THE WATER💦 - Or it's 🤮 🚽🧻🪠
It’s ok now 👍
@@GimbalWalkTVNo it isn't..
@@Bruce-vq7ni crikey is it still going on?
The water problem is all sorted now. They had to drain two reservoirs and freeze lots of underground pipes to get rid of the 'bugs'.
