Thanks again Nick for your glorious scenic morning walks, snowdrops, bluebells etc and wonderful birdsong . And your positive light hearted manner is not wasted on us .BRILLIANT. How you managed not to swear when you stumbled is beyond me .
Love your walks, watched them so many times…..the hills do wear me out but I’m happy to let you be out of breath. The only thing is WHEN do we get some new ones, after all we have to keep you fit.
I am amazed at how entertained I was watching this. High up on the list of good things has to be walking in the woods while being serenaded by song birds. Good stuff for sure!
Great video. I have enjoyed these walks of yours and seeing the sites. It isn't as scenic in my part of the world and this is a great way to escape the confines of my house. Thank you and can't wait for more!
What a healthy nice way to start the day. It’s nice to know that on your walk you have loads of friends with you , but your still have peace and quite.
Thank you very much for that Nick. Has certainly uplifted my spirits. You live in a very beautiful place, lovely whilst the tourists aren’t there although you badly need them back to survive. Ah well it’s lively to see so Thankyou.
Thank you for another great trip down memory lane. Someone asked how long the Golden Hind has been there, well I remember it back in 1965 , so at least that long.
I'm really enjoying these, it's like a jaunt with an old friend, thanks Nick. I can watch paint dry, listening to your voice, and still be entertained.
Now that's a sunrise. So beautiful there. I see your still rocking the dwarf and looking handsome as ever. Such a amazing place to live. Never boring. Stay safe. Love from Canada. Ps great tunes
Every video is just so informative Nick,it’s a win win situation, you get some training, and me and thousands of your followers get a lovely tour with you :) :) :)
Brixham: a fine community for climbers! Great for active holiday makers and lovers of shingle beaches. Thank you for a fine production and a welcome virtual travel experience!
Thanks Nick for another fabulous walking video. It's become quite a family affair watching them cast to our TV. We love Brixham and the kids loved spotting the various places we know. It's so nice seeing it in a different light to the busy place it usually is!
Lovely video. Felt like I accompanying you on the walk Nick. Love hearing about fave places to eat and where you used to work. I have enjoyed many great trips down to your necks of the woods. Have a great day.
What a fantastic journey, another very well crafted masterpiece of early morning scenic outdoor enjoyment. You can see the love and care put into the shots, the interesting commentary and trivia really brings a place to life. The choreographed trip, love it! Going to pick you up on the retired look though, you only fall into a stereotype by choice, I challenge your next walk in a brightly coloured loud Hawaiian shirt, white shorts and trainers. These walks are spectacular, and I really hope you continue them after normality resumes, different coastal locales at home and abroad. I know they havent arrived the viewing figures yet, but they will, people just need to discover them. The music choice at the end, truly delightful, perfectly fitting and closed the trip superbly. Thank you so much. 😉😊⚘
Yer!! you did one of your lovely walks in Brixham. I love churston cove, it's especially beautiful when the tide is high, there's oftain a resident seal. Churston Grove (woods) had many trees felled which is such a shame but there has been a replanting project. Thanks for filming this. Absolutely loved it😀
Thanks that was great, I really enjoy walking with you. The UK has incredible history, steep hills and loverly old buildings and much more but I think we in Australia have better beaches. Hope you didn’t hurt yourself when you slipped, take care Nick.
Hi Nick. Your video 'walks' are stunning. Your commentry when needed and silence to take in the ambiance and beauty of the scenery. In the sheltered bay, mirror calm sea, bursting sunrise is typical for overseas not the UK, you are so lucky, thankyou for taking us with you. AWESOME
Lovely to see Churston cove in such detail. I spent many happy hours floating around there in my octopus dingy when around 7 years old. So poignant to see that and some other spots that have a deep personal tie to my late father. I can't tell you how happy it was so revisit via your work. Happy/sad tears did flow I don't mind telling you.
There you are, walking about enjoying a gorgeous sunrise and stroll, while the rest of us are dreaming of setting on decks of the great ship we bought because we saw it on your channel.Thank you for doing both, and showing us all that you can.
Thanks! That is a really beautiful bit of armchair travel, Nick. Like some of your other subscribers I too am really looking forward to you doing some more on-the-water trips, once the gov allows :)
I'd LOVE it if you did a similar walk through Dartmouth, including just behind the castle restaurant where the beautiful woodland areas are. I live 12,000 miles away so unfortunately it's a bit out of my way.
What a great walk, loving those coves at the end before heading back up to the woods. I'd forgotten how nice Brixham is. A visit is well overdue. Back in the early/mid 80's we chartered a couple of fishing trips to Guernsey from there, think the skipper was a chap called Albert King and his boat Seaking(?), so say one of the fastest on the south coast back then . The B&B we stayed in was at the top of some steep steps just along from the Golden Hind, it was a long hard slow stroll/stumble back up after the pubs had shut. Thanks for bringing back those memories Nick. Keep safe, soon be back out on the water.
There was huge excitement during this walk, as it featured my friends boat in the dry harbour near the Golden Hind. He lives in Bristol, so its the first time he's seen it since lockdown. Nice one Nick xxx
My old hometown and that walk is something I used to do a few times a week! You also had a video of anchored in churston cove at high water which is in this video. Thanks for the memories.... Jason (now living in Spain)!
Very nice Nick & glad you didn’t damage yourself on the little slip. You mentioned the word expert in navigation. Well definition of expert is, Ex as in the Latin for has-been, & Spurt as in drip under pressure. Hence Exspurt! Nick I really enjoy your walkabouts especially since we woke up to snow in Ontario, Canada & it’s May 9th. Makes social distancing easier on Mother’s Day weekend.
We love tbe Brixham firework display for the Christmas Lights turn on & Festival of Light. Just happens to coincide with our "normal" November visit. Roast pork and apple sauce rolls while wrapped up watching tbe fireworks. Cracking!
Bravo! Each walk has been better than the one before. If you ever contemplated a course correction in your life’s journey, the quality of these walks suggest you are a natural cinematic creator. For those of us who are still in our personal bunkers, going stir crazy, these walks transport us from our all too familiar surroundings, and submerses us in the sights and sounds of nature in the natural surroundings of the places you call home. Thanks for your journeys to the quaint places we all yearn to visit but can do so vicariously. I LMAO when you quipped the hills there are all up hill no matter which way you go.
I really am impressed with these many scenes. Also like how you mix in the street scenes, paths, quaint alleyways and other variety, topped off with nice commentary. Thanks again Aquaholic!
Excellent video the Brixham walk. I remember being there about 76 and going out sea fishing in one of the charter boats. Lovely place and a lovely walk Nick. Keep them coming.
Bunny alert at 17:16, you can see it start to run up the stairs. 21:30 dazed and forgets it's supposed to run. Did somebody say Churston woods? Beautiful Bluebells. You were excellent at the boat reviews, Now you're absolutely amazing at these walking videos. I've given up the television in favour of youtube channels that have way higher value content. Thank you..again..again!
Well Nick what a super job you have done showing Torbay at it’s best, along with your superb reviews of sea craft big and small I must say I have loved your early morning walks in the three very different towns that make up Torbay....more power to your elbow and thank you.
Beautiful Brixham! So many memories of happy family holidays in Sunny South Devon. Stay safe and we look forward to your next early morning walk. Hi from our family in Thailand 🇹🇭
I'm so glad I've found your 'walking' videos. So far the one on Brixham is my favourite. I went here as a child in the 60s so felt a bit reluctant to return as it has changed so much. However, can't wait to go. Booked for a week self catering in Galmpton from 8 May. Just have to see how many of your walks we can recreate in that week. One thing for sure tho' I won't be up in time to see any sunrises - ha ha. I do hope you continue with these wonderful videos.
That's a good walk good exercise fella love your channel watch all your Super Yacht videos my dad was a marine Chemical engineer retired now worked on every marine vessels from military to containers vessels cruise ships
I have so many memories of going to the new forest as a child. I need to go again and take my children. We have been going to Hastings for the last four years. Think it's time to take the caravan to Torquay. Long way to go from leeds but worth it.
Wow, I think this is your best walking video yet. I love Brixham. Best moment has to be the family-friendly expletives when you slipped 😂. Hope you didn’t hurt yourself buddy. Looking forward to the next one.
Brixham's lovely! I went on holiday there when I was younger in the 90s. Pretty sure I did most of that walk. Certainly looked at the breakwater and the marina (because I was slightly obsessed with boats) and I might even have looked at the boats for sale in the window of your brokers. We went mackerel fishing (because as a family we had to go on at least one boat whilst on holiday).
You know you’ve made it when you have a Miele cap
A lovely video, more relaxed and chatty intro to your town, rather than a yacht.
Beautiful place!
That fisherman's cove is so calming.
🙂
Thanks again Nick for your glorious scenic morning walks, snowdrops, bluebells etc and wonderful birdsong . And your positive light hearted manner is not wasted on us .BRILLIANT. How you managed not to swear when you stumbled is beyond me .

Wow so beautiful there
Love your walks, watched them so many times…..the hills do wear me out but I’m happy to let you be out of breath. The only thing is WHEN do we get some new ones, after all we have to keep you fit.
There are some fresh ones filmed, just a bit snowed under with boat stuff at the moment, but later this year hopefully.
Lovely place. Thanks for sharing
Birxham is amazing, tranquil. A nice alternative to the boat videos. Keep well Nick
You too! :)
Just beautiful
🌞😎⛵👍👍👍
I am amazed at how entertained I was watching this. High up on the list of good things has to be walking in the woods while being serenaded by song birds.
Good stuff for sure!
Lovely videos...always. Your walking tours are just as good as the boat tours..great work!
They say Yorkshire is God's own country, but Torbay is where he comes on holiday!
another great walk. Thanks
Great video. I have enjoyed these walks of yours and seeing the sites. It isn't as scenic in my part of the world and this is a great way to escape the confines of my house. Thank you and can't wait for more!
Excellent is my favourite word you say.
What a beautiful, and informative stroll! Thank you once again.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Loving these vids, remind me of many happy holidays
Stunning! My favourite video so far. Loved the coves, they were so peaceful and idyllic. Thank you for the tour.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you Nick. Usually when I do it I end up at Churston Court for a pint before return journey. Great narration again.
Wow. That was another truly stunning video. The walking series always seem so relaxing and they are brilliantly shot. Well done 😃👍

I survived! :D I didn't think the original soundtrack would be appreciated... ;)

Love brixham...we always drive round the coast from Paignton when down there visiting family....gr8 fish and chips in the harbour lol
That was so relaxing to watch and the light was just amazing in the early morning sun 😎
Love this, used to live in the top flat next door to the Bullers pub opposite the Golden Hind... bit of a memory jump..

Great video, Brixham’s great during the season but even better when you’ve got the place to yourself! Fishcombe & Mansands my favourites👌🏻👌🏻
If I lived in a place like that I would get up at dawn too, well, sometimes anyway. Thanks for sharing.
