Good god I remember i learned to swim in the pool after I nearly drowned in it when I was about 6 or 7 and later in life I used to spear fish off the pool and the whole family group used to go to Berry Head and fry the spuds they cooked the night before and we kids used to swarm all over the cliffs ( parents these days would have a fit to were we went to collect them but we all made it ) but we got seagulls eggs so we could fry them as well perhaps people these days might think ( eat seagulls eggs ????) but they are very nice indeed.( ( so perhaps we should start collecting them again so there wouldn’t so many of the dam things)
