New Holland TX62 driven by Nick Baker of Wishay Farm, Trinity, mid Devon. The moisture of the oats were 13% and well within the range for harvesting. The organic oats will go to be milled for porridge oats or biscuits. The variety was Merlin spring oats. The 10 acres produced 19.9 tonnes and this was very good for an organic oat crop. The video will take you around the first cut of the field.

It was the final day harvesting the winter barley at Aishe Barton Farm, Silverton in Devon. It was a glorious day with amazing views from these fields high up on the hill overlooking Silverton and the lower culm valley. Kelvin Milton driving the New Holland CR9060. Winter barley variety was Caravelle which yielded an average of 3.72 tons per acre across the 3 fields.
