It's better not to feed wildlife otherwise they're a nuisance to people. If they get too bold they might attack you instead of fleeing

This looks uncannily like 'Cargo fish and chips' in Kiama. The Pelican was extremely lucky the neurotic old battle axe that's often behind the counter wasn't there.....she would have made light work of him quick smart!

No way: its a bad idea to encourage Pelicans to wander around in such places expecting food. If your child is sufficiently small, and the Pelican sufficiently big , it WILL swallow it.
