Her hair is BEAUTIFUL, and you did such a great job. I may be in the minority here but I love when straight hair gets a trim. It always looks so much healthier.

Honey, you can't be straightening hair with this kind of perfection. You gon make naturals pull out their flat irons or d start thinking about that creamy crack. This video was like watching a fine no-good dog of an Ex walk in a room smelling good and looking good. Chile I forget where I was for a second that girl hair looked so beautiful. You put your foot in that, sis.

OK! I'm yelling at my screen "wtf?! I need my hair done exactly like this!" I haven't had a perm in 11 years, or straightened in a year, or even done by a stylist since I was 16. she got me going through withdrawls.
i wish u were in my area...no 1 seems to handle natural hair with care...i love the way you detangled & twisted the hair back up until you were ready for the section...most ppl leave all hair out to tangle all over again...i loved the trim too...PERFECTION

Girl you did that! I love how you clearly understand hair care. The hair looks healthy, isn't weighted down, has body and volume for days. The cut was excellent as well. not to much, but your not scared to use those scissors. Very balanced cut. great job sweetie :)

"Lawd" your about to have me flying to Houston. From start to finish was EVERYTHING. she still has her length, most stylist ive seen "claim they know how to work with natural hair but they really don't and they always end up CHOPPING instead of TRIMMING!

I love how stretchy, springy, and manageable her hair is in that clip when she was detangling. My hair used to be really tangled and it would break a lot. Now my hair is soft, manageable, and VERY strong and breakage resistant now that I deep condition daily. I just got a shape up(2-3 inches cut off) and I can already see both growth from Doo Gro and length retention of it. So happy! I've finally found the key to retaining length, at least for me!
What helps you retain length?

+Malissa H When the hair is completely straight (if it is straightened to perfection), you cannot see the line of demarcation from health to split ends. That's why I do the two steps. If you noticed when I zoomed in to the ends while it was only blown out, you could see the frizzy ends versus the nice clean and trimmed ends. It has worked for several years for me and you may want to go to my Instagram page to see my hair growth photos. She has returned since February for another trim btw...so she's quite happy with my trimming method. Thanks for the assessment!

the hair looked awesome like a proper press. it was shiny and bouncy to death. did the client want s cut or was that a trim because it appeared a few inches of healthy ends were chopped .
