Cross-wrapping is so better than regular wrapping. I don't have to worry about a cow lick in my head (all my wrap ladies know what that is lol) or my hairline being sore
I really love how you wrapped your hair! I've never seen it done like this, but your method seems so effective and I will certainly be trying it the next time I straighten mine.
You're so adorable! Pretty hair! And thank you, you just taught me something new, the criss cross hair method. I'm going to be doing that for now on becuz I hate wrapping my hair, i usually put a scarf on and clamp it up in the back, but I'm sure this would leave my hair much smoother :)
tamayra persaud yes I did. I am pretty sure I did not do it correctly. after I blow dryer it I straightened it while using the follow method. it remained puffy. I bought brand new straighteners and blow dryers just to make sure the quality of my utensils were 100%. I had to cut my hair from below collarbone length to nape of my neck length😥 it was a learning experience. but yes it was terrible heat damage. my straighteners were on 400_450 and I blew dry cool! if you know what I did wrong please let me know. It straightened but it remained poofy. I knew my hair was heat damaged because the entire end was brittle and very clumpy. I have curly hair but it was a different kinda curly. it also smelled burnt lbvs
Jillian Weitz Thank you. it was a disaster. I had to cut my hair from below collarbone length to the nape of my neck. I will try again in the near future
+Sonya Washington never go past about 350 on flat iron your hair will burn at high temps like 450. Also if your hair isn't supper thick u shouldn't have it up so high. U can flat iron without damage u just have to use products that work for u not what works for someone else and don't use an extremely high temp
YOU. DID. THAT. I've been looking all over youtube trying to find natural to salon quality silk straightening tutorial but nada! Most don't completely share their products, or they don't do the demo... just clickbait! But you...did THAT. saved in my favorites.
Hey! Instead of using the leave in conditioner, can I just use a little bit of the manuka conditioner and olive oil? Or do you recommend another leave in?
I just used your technique and all I can say is WOW MY HAIR LOOKS AND FEEL DIFFERENT AFTER I BLEW IT OUT AND FLAT IRONED IT!! Thank you so much for sharing your technique, will be using it from now on!
great result! I like wrapped hair, too, but for some reason - when I wrap my hair the hair on the side of the direction I wrap in always hurts the next day. If I wrap to the right - the right side of my head hurts in the morning. If I wrap to the left - the left side. The results are great and the hurt doesn't last long - it's not a headache, just like the scalp hurts from being pulled in that direction all night long. But I might try your wrap style - I wonder if it will work on below waist length hair. My only thing is - if I am going to the trouble of flat ironing all my thick, long hair - I don't want any crimps or bends in it. I see that the back of your hair had some crimps - does it straighten out during the day or do they stay in there?? your hair was super shiny and flowy and that is exactly what I'm looking for when i flat iron my hair.
Girl....your hair is GORGEOUS!! Wish I could give you TWO thumbs up. Will try your method and products this weekend. I will subscribe since I loved this video so much!
yasss love your wrapping method!i hate wrapping my hair because it causes indents and my edge dont lay right!flat ironed my hair today definitely trying your way of wrapping!😙
Awww you and ur hair are beautiful!! I love that clean trim too very nice & neat. It can ruin a style when that is neglected. Thank you for sharing. I just had a "beautician" damage my long hair & I was sad, but it will come back & she is sooo fired! Thanx!
Wow, so silky and beautiful! I wish I had watched this yesterday before I flat ironed my hair. Maybe mine would've came out this nice. Next time I'm trying your method, for sure.
Very nice video! Very helpful! I will definitely try the criss-cross method because I could never wrap my hair properly. Thank you for posting. Your hair is beautiful!
Beautiful results! I'm a natural that likes to use heat every now and then too. I'm definitely trying out your wrapping method! Thanks for sharing girl.
+Adaeze Ahhh I really gotta thank you for this wrapping method! The two scarves with the cross wrapping works PERFECTLY. Anything else was just way too much work or put too much stress on my hair! Thanks girl!
Lol I've started using a lot of leave in conditioner too with water and then I add some olive oil. My hair looks so moisturized. I think it creates the perfect canvas for styling or just as a wash and go.
Omg sooooo pretty!!!! my hair is super thick and I try so hard to straighten my hair using the comb, but between my short patience and it not turning out how I want it, My roots are always puffy no matter how hard I try so I just rather pay someone to do it! I wish I could do it though lol
Omg this is my first time doing this andddddddd my results were so good, MY HAIR IS SO LOOOOONG! And SHINY! Omg!! Thank you that you! Your a GODESS!!😩🤩😃😄
Love this especially because we have the same hair pattern and texture! Did you ever have the issue of flat ironing your hair and it coming out looking thin and stiff even though your hair is thick? Been running into that issue a lot lately! Thanks for the vid! Great job
I used your exact same products and they worked lovely and the leave in is by far the best one I've ever used; however, does your hair flake pretty bad during blow drying? (Not dandruff but more so product)
Wooow..perfect hair..I'm gonna try to flat iron my hair..have a 1 month old I'm the house and of been kinda hesitant about using the blow dryer around her because she may get scared. lol.
I can't believe that is natural hair, you look like you walked right out of a salon, great job!!! Wow!!!
Cross-wrapping is so better than regular wrapping. I don't have to worry about a cow lick in my head (all my wrap ladies know what that is lol) or my hairline being sore
it is better
What’s a cow lick ?
AC Downloads101 why would you think you're the only one who does this when its millions of people in this world?
MsShaye H I think she was saying the only one who's hairline gets sore from wrapping it
Jocelin Slaughter Do you personally talk to her?
Now I want to take my braids out so I can flat iron my hair like yours😩😩😩😩😩 Beautiful Doll!!!
Was just thinking the same thing 😩😫
I do to😑😑😑

Sonya Washington did u have an heat damage?
Sonya Washington good luck and a good tip is to use some heat protectant and don't burn yourself
tamayra persaud yes I did. I am pretty sure I did not do it correctly. after I blow dryer it I straightened it while using the follow method. it remained puffy. Everybody has that one raggedy comb that's seen it all haha Beautiful results! 😍
I hope your flatiron doesn't go up to 460 degrees because hair burns at 450. That company gives no fucks.

Your comment literally made me LOL. I needed that 😊

Hi All, I used shea moisture shampoo and conditioner. The coconut hibiscus :)
Hey! Instead of using the leave in conditioner, can I just use a little bit of the manuka conditioner and olive oil? Or do you recommend another leave in?
+Jun Kong I haven't tried using another leave in for flat ironing my hair so I'm not sure
nicolelise and u
nicolelise how do you grow your hair
nicolelise I love shea moisture some people say it makes there hair heavyb

"the tension method "...wow, in all my years of hair do'n I've NEVER seen that!... what an amazing idea/ technique! thanks😄
Oh my gosh why do you have such amazing hair?!😫
I might have to try your wrap technique because my edges on the left side are always jacked because of how I wrap my hair.
Mimi Iman and it's so sore 😢
Me to girl, me to😓😒😩
Girl your hair is GORGEOUS!!

Gorgeous. I don't have the diligence or patience for that. The one time I did as a natural, it was humid out.....
You made this look so easy lol. I'm definitely going to attempt this and the wrap.
This video helped a lot! I am about to attempt to do my own hair (transitioning) for the first time. Thx!
This video greatly educated me. Questions: Is there a leave in conditioner you would recommend? Is there a brand of flat iron you'd recommend?
Your hair came out beautiful & you’re pretty.😍
