- This took about 45 minutes in real time, so I sped most of it up for your convenience. My hair was washed and conditioned with Design Essentials Milk and Honey line prior to filming.

Be Advised:
I wear my hair straight almost 70% of the time so my 4a pattern is way more stretched. I also color and highlight my natural hair. If you want to maintain your most natural, god -given pattern, be sure to keep heat styling to a minimum throughout the year.

Why is every one saying she looks like Michelle Obama? I don't see it. Any way, you did a great job straightening your hair. I've never been able to get my hair this straight but i may need to just use a lighter conditioner and a flat topped straightening tool on my blowdryer.

My jaw dropped at the end! I haven't flat-ironed my hair since going natural, but I'm really curious to see how long it really is and what it will look like after I straighten it. I would not have thought about that final step to clip up those large sections. That really added the wow factor for me!

Thank you for showing kinky haired girls getting a sleek straight look doesn't have to be some kind of production. These are the same steps I take to straighten my 3a/3b hair and it looks about the same in the end. Love it, also - what a beautiful face.

I'm looking at her hair and I don't think her hair is 4a.SHe does have fine hair but she looks more in the 3 family like 3b-3c but a fine 3b hair type..
Michelle Gomez she explained that her hair is heat damaged.
Oratilwe Ledwaba her heat damage wouldn't turned out to be the texture of a 3b-3c. Her hair doesn't look damage at all coming from a hairstylist. her pattern is to much the same throughout. you all need to stop thinking heat damage reverse you to another texture when what it does is make you loose the elasticity, gives you more frizz, burns, never to revert to yout real texture, DAmage. It will not make her a siky texture of 3 whatever.
