First it was Jeff drinking juice straight out of the bottle without adding any water and now its him eating the curry straight out of the box without any rice or naan (type of bread)😂😂

You don't eat six donuts for breakfast lol

I dont eat with rice sometimes, so ig.....
Here I was thinking Tom would eat one doughnut for breakfast .... the level of anxiety watching him eat the whole half dozen was VERY real.

Few observations from this video;
1) Yes, lots of people around the UK refer to ketchup as "red sauce" or failing that tomato sauce. Ketchup is a relatively recent adoption to the language thanks to American TV & cinema.
2) Similarly, coffee is actually becoming very popular in the UK as the breakfast drink of choice, and may soon overtake tea as a preference. I tend to opt for a coffee when I want a caffeine boost, and a cup of tea if I'm just relaxing.
3) I mean, tea is very literally just flavoured water. All tea. The only real difference is the British adding milk to our "breakfast tea".
4) I'm imagining with the US breakfast option it would be more like someone would make a coffee run first thing in the morning and turn up to work with say, four coffees(?) and a box of donuts to share? Rather than eating that much each.
5) Is it just me or did they both kind of get each other stereotypical "drunk food" for lunch? Though somehow, weirdly, Taco Bell feels more appropriate as a lunchtime meal. Perhaps tacos in general, rather than "the Bell" specifically (we've all heard the horror stories)!
6) Eeesh! A vindaloo and no rice! You poor soul.
Nah tea is a British special we don’t need the caffeine Boost and defo coffee won’t take over tea tbh that’s the wet kid our brought up
But I agree it’s popular
Doner kebab for lunch? That’s what us brits have at 4:00 am on the way home after 12 hours of drinking haha

Why didn’t Jeff get any rice or bread? Lmao did he not look it up before he ordered it?
Americans have a very... "We eat it as is" attitude, looking up how to consume our food is the last thing on our minds when we eat lol.
@Error Report No, it's a very American problem actually. You don't put a sauce in front of almost every American when presented with new food and they will almost never ask for it.

@@Ana-ro5wj
Since you've asked, I'm assuming you live nowhere near the UK, so I'll try to explain thoroughly but apologies if I sound patronising or anything.
Brown sauce is hard to explain, and can't be called a basic "tomato ketchup"-similar name since the ingredients are very varied and complicated.
Brown sauce has been around for a long time. I believe it was invented by British people who probably tried to replicate sauces that were sampled in India or things brought back from India during the times of the British Raj (but I may be wrong or the timings may be off). Regardless it's a British creation using many spices and ingredients that were sourced from the travels that British people went on back in the day.
I highly reccomend you try it.
As an Indian and as a Brit, brown sauce is nothing too similar to tamarind sauces but both are delicious. Brown sauce is spicy and tangy and in the UK it's paired with pork products. With bacon or with sausages as part of a full English breakfast or in a breakfast roll (roll, bun, cob, bap, whatever local word you prefer, based on where you live).
My favourite brand of brown sauce is HP, I'm sure you can find some on Amazon or somewhere online, wherever you might be.
I don't know a huge amount of cultural or cuisine-related history since I'm not that old, so I could be wrong about some things (happy to be corrected!)
I am a very ignorant Brit, I have no idea what ranch dressing is that the Americans talk about. So it's perfectly understandable that people don't know what brown sauce is.
@@PriyaPans oh that almost sounds like pickapeppa sauce. I LOVE pickapeppa sauce, also, I'm from the United States. I'm going to see if I can find the brand you mentioned on amazon. Thank you!
@@Ana-ro5wj I've never heard of pickapeppa sauce bit it sounds so fun! Maybe I should try to find it!

Tbf, having tea from greggs, you may as well have just boiled water. It's not good tea at all
So true. You can't decide whether or not you like tea if you have a shite tea
It's the worst lol
But most people havent had a decent tea unless you have had it made from proper loose leaf tea, as a life hack you can use a filter coffee machine to make loose leaf tea, just follow the fule one extra tea spoon of tea leaves vs the amount you brew. So if making a 5 cup pot and 6 tea spoons of leaves. Best tea you will ever try.
@@rob27dap26 or you can buy those tea balls, they just clip/hang over the end of your cup/mug and effectively become tea bags. But they're reusable. Or you can buy reusable cotton tea bags. They need cleaning out but... Worth it for a decent cuppa.
Idk I quite like a Greggs tea on the way to work. They normally leave the tea bag in so you can make it to your preference
When he ate the vindaloo on its own I felt my soul slowly sinking-

A Krispy Kreme that doesn’t make coffee??? What in the what??? Also we usually only eat one.. maybe two donuts if we’re feeling crazy for breakfast lol
Krispy kreme isn’t usually a shop in the U.K. you can get it within a supermarket I.e tesco but rarely on its own (I’m assuming his doughnuts were delivered)
I think he just took a bite out of each to try. But yeah 6 donuts is a lot.
There are a couple of actual shops, but I think I've only ever seen one and that was in a major city. Everywhere else, it's just like a box in the supermarket that they top up each morning, and you grab whatever doughnuts you want yourself and bring it to the cash register.
@@analayahreid3866 in the big service stations there are sometimes Krispy Kreme places
Jeff, about British bacon: we have two types of bacon, the one You talk about is "streaky bacon" with layers of fat, meat, fat, meat in stripes; and the bacon You have in Your bun is "back bacon" which is kind of a lean loin and a bit of fat on the side. Your welcome! :D

Ranch Dressing was created at Hidden Valley Ranch, and they put it on salads at their restaurant. After they started selling it in grocery stores, people started experimenting with putting it on sandwiches. It just took off from there.

The carolina bbq sauce he had was south carolina inspired which has mustard in it. North carolina has two distinct sauces, a tomato based in the west and a vinegar and red pepper sauce in the East. East is the best for pulled pork if you ever get the chance. If you ever get invited to a pig pickin expect the Eastern style bbq.

Yep, I would choose the ring glazed donut too, simply because you can actually dip it in your tea/coffee without ruining the flavour.
And for 4:35 we drink boiling hot tea because overall UK is a cold country and usually when people leave work in the morning, is when it’s the coldest time of day, so you need something really hot to warm you up. That, and obviously we have good taste in beverage choices 😝😝
Well today here in Michigan it’s like -10 degrees Fahrenheit with windchill yet I still could not drink a super hot drink without burning my tongue.
