$110 on the Asus eStore without hall effect sticks and triggers, on-screen keymapper and 3.5mm jack is disappointing, but everything else looks great. Especially like the folding telescopic bridge and mechanical inputs. Try again with the Tessen 2, Asus. Would also be nice if somebody added mechanical trigger stops like the ones found on the Razer Wolverine V2 Pro and Flydigi Vader 3 Pro to a phone controller.
Absolutely love mine. Ive got over a dozen of these android controllers and this one is the top dog. It has exactly what you need and nothing more. Its collapsable and sits nice in the backpack. Pass thru charging is dope. Type C no lagbis dope. Feels great. Mechanical switches are dope. Happiest $109 Ive ever spent.
Gamesir Galileo G8 it's not very "portable", but it definitely met my expectations. Even more so since it cost less than $50 during the sale. And there are things like "no hall effect" and audio input.
Someone needs to make a usb c controller that is 2 halves. When you take it off the controller they connect to a center piece and can be used as a wireless Bluetooth controller when docking the phone.
If they would put the type c on the left, not only would it make all the folding phones usable, but the volume would be accessible with a thumb reach. It's really frustrating trying to find one with a left type c port.
@@TDustit’s also very cheap build quality. My usb-c port snapped off on the X2S with my Surface Duo 2. I’m considering getting the Rog Tessen or Kishi V2 Pro and just throw on a few usb-c adapters to make it work with the folding phone in a proper DS orientation.
Just checked it out and it only fits phones, not tablets (let alone my 11in A9+). I've seen others that can work on the A9+ but they're either wireless or one that needs a mod so the telescoping mechanism can stretch farther out without looking weird (it can otherwise just stretch), or both, BUT all of these have reviews warning that in more cases on some than the others the controls don't work and all of them have security issues with the mapping software. As it is since I use it for Steam Link so I can play slower pace games that don't have demanding graphics (ie more Disgaea, Front Mission, older Final Fantasy than Total War campaign maps) I just have my wireless controller still connected to my gaming laptop the Android is linking to. No latency issues for such games, but the problem is while I get a display to read dialogue or item descriptions easily, what I do is sit on the couch, throw pillow on my arms holding the tablet and controller in hands. Not the most ergonomic set up compared to leaning back more on the recliner and just having my elbows on the armrest holding controls with the tablet in the center. I don't really need a Steam Deck since I just link to play on the couch or while I'm doing laundry, not play absolutely anywhere (on top of my getting the tablet for reading ebooks, browsing in bed, larger screen for other apps, etc).
I just dont understand how the parts add up to $150. It has no bluetooth, no battery, no gyro sensor, no hall effect triggers or sticks, no swappable sticks or dpads, i just dont see where the price is coming from
Have you tried using this on the iPhone 15 Pro Max? It seems like apple has done some switching around adding the “controller” section under settings. Previous android controllers that didn’t work before are now reporting they are working now…
Lo que yo creo es que nadie a intentado colocar una SSD externa por el puerto USB C de estos controles, mi duda es, si son compatibles o no, ya que ahora están saliendo SSD externos con puerto de carga para los smartphone, como el Hagibis. Saludos.

Hey bro i wanna ask you a question? I have rog 8 pro and i wanna get controller for him ,what would you recommend me Options: Backbone, razer kishi v2 or tessen I will be very happy if you help me
Why do phone controller companies make the right stick so low , I've not found 1 controller that doesn't give me cramps because it's uncomfortable due to the right stick being so low.
Are you able to connect to the controller via the charing port and use it as a regular controller, like the backbone? I'm using GeForce now and want to use my monitor via Samsung dex I'd rather use mouse and keyboard but cannot find anyway to map my logitech pro mouse without windows and it seems the case with paddle controllers as well. Thankfully there's a second port but it's only for charging. asus customer care is really bad.
