I have three cats with great personalities myself but Kodi is a genius of loving life and exploring all possibilities of fun and play! An example to follow on the road to happiness (across the occasional disaster of course) PS the piano is expertly played! Alltogether wonderful, thank you so much for sharing these cats life - BTW Shorty is a great double-act with Kodi!

Fur Elise is my favorite classical and at one point I was able to play the whole song like you but haven't in years. Very few can play it from beginning to the end without mistakes. All animals are mesmerized by music. When I play the piano, Mango (budgie), will also stay still as long as I'm playing (can be 1 hr or longer). My guitar teacher used to play his piano and his cat would sit on top of the piano completely hypnotized. I guess that's why they say "music calms to wildest beasts."

I've now watched most of your videos and they literally make me LOL, except for the ones that are so sweet and/or poignant that they make me cry. That was adorable. I especially liked the part where Shorty is leaping up the wall in time to the music--great editing! It reminded me of a foster cat I had years ago... when I played piano, she would run around like a nut and then climb up the front screen door and hang by her claws, for a while; then she would run over to the piano, jump on the bench and start banging the keys with her paws. I have to say, I didn't find this reaction particularly inspiring musically. But it was pretty funny.
