    just became a dealer for ect. formerly a dogtra user. Really is no comparison. Dogtra needs to up their game.

    The Dogtra is more controllable by the end user. Meaning that there is less of a jump in stimulation because there are more spread out compared to the e collar. Which is better for a more sensitive dog.

    You will feel it on a lesser level on the ecollar because there is more of a jump between levels than you get with Dogtra.

    Not sure which model would be better suited between the 800 or the ez900 series e collars. I have male Rescue Rhodesian ridge back who knows all his commands but has a high prey drive and very excited when he sees other dogs he wants to bolt at them and play so I need to help with the recall when I go hiking in the forest as he tends to wander

      Here's a link to a new video by
      @TheGoodDogTraining (see below)
      I recently picked up the ez 900 and was waiting to train my dog with it. After watching Sean O'shea work with another version of e collar (ez400), I was able to recreate what he showed with my dog later that day. ez 400 has similar features as 900 that allow for on the fly ramping up. Dash35 has a side by side video too. After watching that one, I"m glad I got the 900.
      my dog now a days has low prey drive (was a 100/100 but we trained it out) but she still gets all revved when she sees another dog, even if its a friend. using what Sean shows in the video I was able to break up the locked in mindset and even have a successful recall from 30 yards away. (before, she would be having too much fun chasing and playing with her friend and tune me out. now I can get a fast recall as if we were alone in the park). Hope the video helps you as much as it helped me.

      Wrong type of video, either tool will work…
      You should be going to a trainer not watching e-collar videos

    Dogtra has higher levels. Percentage wise that tells you nothing about the power comparison. Do like me and put it on your neck full power. 😜
