Because rent is so damn high now, I couldn’t afford to live in a nicer area or a nicer smaller apartment with all the amenities that I used to waste my money on. Since COVID, rent and home sales are so sky high! I won’t be walking around by myself at night. The Monday, 2 days after I moved into an old row home, someone came and unlocked my back screen door and the main door…but good thing I have a great strong padlock on the main door, so they couldn’t get in!
