I'm being honest, at first I don't find anything special about anesthesiologist and why it's so important in OR but after doing some research, watching videos about anesthesia and anesthesiologist lives, it makes me have a second thought. I love it how anesthesiologist checks the bp of the patient and more while other surgeon do the surgery. It makes anesthesiologist looks like a guardian angels who keeps someone safe
so glad you researched more into Anesthesiologist's work! I've just started my Anesthesiology residency a week back and it's been nothing but thrilling and amazing.. they are what keeps the patient alive and safe and pain-free while surgeons do their job of removing the disease. Definitely hurts when many don't even realise how crucial Anesthesiologists are in patient care but hopefully the scenario changes with time..
@@lowkey_minir60 and? you're either downplaying the role nurses play or think the surgeons are the kings wherever they go which both are absolutely not true
You didn’t find anything special about anesthesiologists and why they are IMPORTANT in the OR? Try getting surgery without one and you will learn real quick how important they are
Oh, it's cool to see people like you. I really liked how you showed the division into anesthesiologists. This immediately becomes clear to people not connected with medicine. There are people in my country who have no idea what an anesthesiologist does. I am glad that you have a good team and such a high-tech hospital, it is my dream to work with you in Florida. I am also an anesthesiologist in Russia, but unfortunately, the process of legalizing a diploma is very expensive for me, in order to complete an internship with you, I need to save money for half a year. Good luck colleagues! Quiet duty, as they say in our country!
As i have passion about orthopaedic surgery faculty but after some try it looks tough for me. Then I tried for anaesthesiology. Here it comes when i start training in anaesthesia. Its super specialised subject which makes surgeons and patients safe during surgery and also there is branch for critical care and pain medicine which another world of anaesthesiology. I wonder how specialised it is! ❤
bless ya so much hard work to become an dr I'm sure in end your get there i hope one day to help teach medical students as one of there body donors as I'm thermally ill young man so decided to give consent to body donation in hope to help teach medical students Anatomy i wish all well in there studies and pray you carry on to become great dr take care
I hope to come back to this comment in a couple years to follow up. More than halfway through my BSN now. Main goal is to become an Anesthesiologist. Open to obstetrics or general. Backup is Radiation Oncologist. Hope one of you will see this comment down the road and follow up to remind me to come back and update you all!
A DO is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, a person who earned their medical degree at an osteopathic medical school versus an allopathic medical school. Roughly one quarter of U.S. medical students train at osteopathic medical schools, per the American Medical Association. After earning their medical degree, DOs enter the same graduate medical training programs as MDs, and we often have a mixture of both in our programs.

I completed my MBBS degree am I able to secure an anesthesiology residency at the university I am FMG from Somalia and went my medical school in china
You would have to take and pass the USMLE step 1 and step 2 exams to obtain a U.S. medical license then you could apply to a residency here
