  • Moving a little forward, a lengthy skit seen in this episode really keeps the contestant and the audience on their toes, even for this show's standards. Where will this end? Watch and see.
Unfortunately, the quality is not the best, especially on the audio side of things (which I did clean to the best of my ability).

It,s interesting 🤔 but also ironic that the late Jan Murray the original host of Treasure Hunt made numerous appearances on The Hollywood Squares with Peter Marshall!!--It,s too bad that Geoff Edwards never appeared on The Hollywood Squares or even the late Chuck Barris himself who later hosted THE GONE SHOW as well as Executive Producer of The New Treasure Hurt The Newlywed Game &The Dating Game!! RIP JAN MURRAY CHUCK BARRIS GEOFF EDWARDS JOHNNY JACOBS NAOMI DEVARGUS & EMILE ARMATORI!!

I like how the prize values are given in dollars and cents. 13:45 " ... a grand total of -- Seven thousand nine hundred forty dollars and six cents." Can't leave out the six cents.

One of the big reveals from this episode was considered exciting enough to be excerpted in the Game Show Network's opening montage - ruclips.net/video/0c_6UAF2NVQ/видео.html - and it's fun to know exactly what the context was. Thank you for sharing!

Sivi looks great in a blue bikini bathing suit at the 3:38, 4:53 marks, a lady won $1,375 in cash, passed up a baby carriage, a clunk, however, another lady won $8,000 in cash, excellent episode!!

Notice that on this show a klunk didn't have the same meaning as zonk on "Let's Make a Deal." If a contestant ended up with a klunk, at least it had some monetary value as well as being something that might be useful. None of the zonks on LMAD can be considered as such.
I think as far as the context of the show goes, the parrot had a low retail value. For that reason, in comparison with the fabulous prizes, it would be considered a klunk, but not a bad thing per se. For those who said that a parrot is not a klunk, you're entitled to your opinion. If the prize reveal ended with the parrot, while it would be a klunk on that show, I'm sure the contestant still would have been happy.
The first contestant who dodged the klunk, the baby carriage, think about what that would have meant had she won that. She most likely was a grandmother, or close to that. The carriage would have been useful and thus not a total loss.

17:47--I feel sorry for the parrot; living creatures are not "klunks." I hope today's incarnations of these shows have gotten away from offering birds, fish, and animals as gifts or booby prizes.
