While the two were stuck in the Mojoverse (making WONDERFUL television all the while!), Mojo slowly prepared his greatest show for these two. It was going to be the Dark Millennium: Horrors on Planet Gunslinger. The newest sci-fi/horror/western craze! Oh goody. He was ready for the premiere and his two stars would be brought forth and-WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY WON'T LEAVE THEIR TRAILER? Mojo turned away from his screen, shrieking with indignation, "MAJOR DOOOOMOOO!!!" To which the silver haired assistant approached, with a slight bow and an exhausted expression, "Yes, your Bulbous Gloriousness." Mojo glared, with a lean forward and a prod, "Why are the two STARS just lounging about?! They need to appear on the set NOW! Bulldozer is ready for his appearance and I will be FURIOUS with him if he doesn't get his revenge." The assistant gestured toward another monitor showing off as Wade Wilson enjoyed his Chimichangas and Jennifer was relaxing in a simulation of her apartment with Jack of Hearts and the nicer parts of the Avenger's Mansion(even though she was only an auxillery member now she DID miss their hot tubs), "Well, you said treat them as the stars they deserve to be," Majordomo continued, "you said, and I quote oh Great Spineless One, 'I want them ready and rested for good TV, if they waste my time I can still fill the air ways'." Mojo scratched his bulbous chin with a pondering hum, "Oh. I did say that, yes, that does sound ingenious. WELL! I'll stick to my wonderful director's vision then! I'll just watch the ratings climb as, for some reason, the people just LOVE watching them relax. Which'll make it all the fun when the grand finale comes! It'll be a KILLER! AHAHAHAH-" Just then, Mojo's studio door was sliced open with the 'shing' of a katana, and the loud hollering shouts of Deadpool rang out, "Luuuuucy I'm HOOOOM-" Mojo sneered, "NO! You fool! Not that! We cannot afford the copyright! WELCOME to your Doom Mister Wilson! Hopefully you enjoyed all sorts of Chimichangas my star! TODAY you find yourself in the Darkest Fantasies where there will be dragons, trolls, Ogres-" Deadpool held up his hands, "Whoa, whoa whoa, I hate to stop you right there, but we'll be out of here in 5 turns. Plus, miss jolly green giant is REALLY messing with your operation. Turns out Lawyers know how to talk to Hollywood types. Who knew?! There was that the right amount of exposition? I hope so. Cause I'm too good for this fanfiction comment section milarky-" Mojo let out a frustrated shout, "DO NOT talk to the camera WILSON! Instead! Smile FOR the camera! For you'll face the deadly, the fan-favorite DRAGON... ... where is the dragon? In fact, how did you break in so quick!? GAAAH! NO! MY SCRIPT! This isn't how it's supposed to be going at all and-" Yet the RATINGS WERE CLIMBING it was as if She-Hulk and Deadpool didn't even CARE to stop his scheme. Sure it was going down occasionally, that was probably the sabotage, yet it just kept CLIMBING! No no! One of them was SUPPOSED to take responsibility! Mojo was STUNNED! He was CONFUSED! It was all going WRONG! On top of that, She-Hulk was breaking out Mojo's prisoners left and right. Rescuing Gambit, Ironheart and even Snowguard. Using negotiation and her skills as a lawyer and long-time negotiations. Eventually she too arrived, smashing through a wall she'd shout out, "Mojo! You could of at LEAST let Spiral have a turn before taking another shot at me." Mojo had absolutely had it, surrounded, yet ratings were immensely high... such a confusing mix of feelings! "No matter!" Mojo said with a gleeful chuckle, "The show must go on my darling stars and here is your old nemesis BULLDOZER!" "Don't care." She-Hulk replied immediately which... left Mojo speechless. Mojo stared, realizing his set was already destroyed in the moments it took to introduce Bulldozer... Everything was on fire. It was all smashed and destroyed. What a day. "Well. At least it was a great show-" Mojo's beat down was only held back due to the fact that Wade's audio was muted during the last turn, preventing him and She-Hulk from cooperating and turning Mojo well and truly into paste. Denizens of the Mojoverse have rated it a 44/50 'Nearly Perfect if only someone died in the end'. ----------- Thank you for the awesome gameplay! I find it funny how I designed the justice Deadpool Deck to get super built out and then carefully control until FIRE AND SWORDS! She-Hulk also designed to build, control then SMASH! .Yet you HIT THE FAST FORWARD button and got set up by turn two. Locked Mojo down and DESTROYED him. Yikes! Well played and what a wonderful showing. You even got Bulldozer to come out and knocked him down. Funny how neither 'Not My Responsibility' or 'Great Responsibility' were really used. I play tested this fight myself and it always came down to the last modular set, +8 Acceleration tokens on the main scheme and then punching his teeth in repeatedly. Sooooo... kinda like how yours went but way slower. Shows your experience as you know when you can hit the gas pedal. I really like the edits you made to the Deadpool deck and I'll have to think about incorporating them. Thank you once more for the awesome gameplay and help with the decks! Mojo will be gone for a while but he'll no doubt come back in someway. I may even request a harder version of his fight in the future 😉
Thanks so much for the gameplay request as always! I had a blast. I really noticed that Fantasy may be too easy of a modular set especially if Dragon doesnt come out in this game. I think the +1 handsize really skewed everything in my favor 😅 i can see this going much different without an additional card in hand every turn. Also I’m not too sure about this Deadpool deck, it would only be viable at higher player counts and Gunboat might be trying to do too much with the deck. But I’d be excited to take on a more difficult version of this matchup in the future :)
Based on the Appendix II in the RRG, I think you did the setup incorrectly. You reveal A Game of Mojos in step 12, but you don't draw player hands until step 14

Yeaa you’re slowly bringing me over. Especially with Energy Barriers preventing ping damage from killing home in AE… that was his biggest weakness imo

I believe that setups that modify handsize do not apply for the initial mulligan. I’m not sure where i read this but i think it was confirmed by FFG
I believe they’re referring to the additional handsize from the environment A Game of Mojos!
