Just wanted to say your channel is criminally underrated for Marvel Champions content. I just got into the game during Black Friday sales and can’t stop watching your playthroughs. Your presentation is so clean and easy to follow. Keep up the good work!
I think I'll post almost under every video and I'll do that because I really enjoyed watching every single one and you gave me many exciting hours in 2024. For me, you are by far the best Marvel Champions content creator out there. Just thank you for that and Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones! :)
Aww thanks so much jehoba. I appreciate hearing from you everytime, thank you for being my first ever member this year too! Wishing you and your loved ones an amazing Christmas over there in Germany 🇩🇪✊
Welcome to the channel 😁 I like to face Venom Goblin for my first game with a hero as a stress tester and to see how they deal with board pressure. I also like taking heroes against Ronan the Accuser/Magneto because it gives me a standard to compare heroes between each other. Sometimes it goes terribly (for example my first game with Hawkeye which was versus Ronan) but it gives me clarity when evaluating heroes. For example, if i used Green Goblin Mutagen Formula as my “test villain,” i can see Hawkeye locking down that scenario with status lock and tempo, so maybe Hawkeye defeats Mutagen Formula more easily than Peter Parker Spider-Man for example. That would skew my opinion because Peter can still defeat Green Goblin reliably and against the higher difficulty villains Hawkeye struggles more than Peter would any villain. This definitely isn’t my recommendation for a test villain, just my personal preference.
Great video, really enjoyed hearing your thoughts on the year as a whole. Especially on the slower release schedule, I agree the breather was good for revisiting older content even though it’ll be nice to have more next year! There wasn’t much play time for me this year. With the new baby born in June, it’s hard to find Champions time right now. Thanks so much for the content to enjoy until I can play more myself! Hope you have a great Christmas and a wonderful year ahead! 🎉
Thanks Kyle! Glad to hear the slower release schedule worked out for both of us haha. I appreciate that, wishing you and your family an amazing holiday season and a great new year too :)
I have to agree that this last year was slow and it was a good thing especially us newer players being able to catch up, but hopefully with the holidays I'll get the last 12 heroes I need for my full collection
I'm gonna be honest, I forgot all about Bishop. I don't think i have ever played him. I need to. I really liked Iceman, but I also like being the troll to the villains and messing with them. :) I would LOVE to see Ghost Rider! Can't wait to see what you end up doing and showing in 2025 Webby! :D
Random off topic question. Is spdrs sync ratio a triggered ability. Facing mysterio right now and the induced panic card has come up. Are resource abilities triggered abilities
I’m not 100% sure, but i believe that Sync Ratio is a triggered ability when you need to generate a resource, unfortunately. Induced Panic is a rough encounter card for SP//dr :(
Hero: Magik Leadership card: Sidekick Justice card: Three Steps ahead Aggression card: Goldballs Protection card: Change of Fortune Basic card: Face the Past Ally: Gambit (I think Children of the Atom is very good in certain decks, generally if the deck is already mixed traited, but its overrated if you are adding it to mono trait decks. Suit Up is wierd, because yeah, used like a make the call, is extremely powerful, but it feels exploitive and not exactly what the designers were intending with the card, so its not on my list for that reason.)
@@Ddwlf27gotcha! We have very different tastes as usual 😂 but Gambit ally was an honorary card for me for both favorites and power. My personal rng experiences with the card probably skewed my opinion and dropped it in both lists for me (scrying 3 cards with 1 or less boost icons multiple times) but as Gnarlantlers correctly pointed out, being able to peek at the top 3 cards already makes the card worth it
@@webwarriorfanatic Three Steps ahead is definitely a multiplayer pick. The deck with Multitasking, Three Steps ahead, Passion for Justice, and operative skill is very strong, but it's too much thwarting for solo. Aggression was just another disappointing year overall. And Sidekick probably influenced more by being fun than the other picks. SpiderWoman L/Pool Sidekick was my favorite deck of the year.
@@Ddwlf27 That’s fair. Spider-Woman ‘Pool/leadership is my favorite way to play her too, but it’s also the only tolerable way to play her for me since i dislike her kit lol
@@grifbean thanks for not spoiling it for us, Griffin! Cool to know we’re getting a scenario pack. I’ll wait until ffg’s announcement article to get HYPED
Formerly exclusively an Arkham Player(Love it) alongside Lord of the Rings(but didn't enjoy how the game basically HEAVILY leaned into 'counter pick the mission'). Joined in during the Age of Apocalypse run (alias this year) (around when Jubilee was teased to release) and after a very rough start with the game (both rules wise and trying to find help in the community) I have been hooked ever since. I adore this game, a lot of the core community, the homebrew scene and just SO MUCH to like about it! The rules system is so fun, inspired, simplistic yet with a lot of depth. If I wasn't busy to prevent long-term commitments I'd probably be hammering away at homebrew myself. Thankfully though the deck building has been a lot of fun after I started to realize how to play the game and allowing myself to use cards that some folks tried to scare me away from. The best part of this game is being able to play it YOUR way and it supporting those methods whole heartedly. I'm SO excited for future releases and I really hope they speed up the content releases, as they say, cause I am definitely ready for more. Plus, I'd like to get to the Defenders, Gamma and Fantastic Four. 😉Thank you for all of your content!
Thank YOU, Ritsy! Totally agreed with everything you said. This game is all about being to express whatever you can imagine however you want, and homebrewing cards amplifies that. I’m looking forward to all the future releases too, can’t wait for Gamma in particular 🙌🙌🙌
What are your favorite heroes & cards that released in 2024? And which new hero/card is the most powerful?

@@andrews9127 ty for clarifying!
Hero: Magik

Are these your favorite cards or strongest cards? Exploiting Suit Up = Me 😅😂
The cards I chose were like the strongest cards that I like playing, with special emphasis on cards that create new or greatly improve deck types.

I hope we get more scenario packs in 2025. I really enjoyed the Mojo pack a lot and want more like that.
Absolutely share your sentiments. I would love another mini campaign scenario pack like Mojo 🤩
We are getting a scenario pack next year, just look up Marvel Champions 2025 leaks. I won't spoil it here though ;)
