Is there a 'manual mode' on this machine when pulling shots? For example, you press a button to start the shot, and then press the button again when you want the shot to stop?
I'd like to know how to install the Elizabeth firmware on my Victoria as i really like the auto stop function. It's beyond me why Lelit left that out and just shows the timer..
Nice overview - thanks! A quick question with regard to the Diana PID model: I know it's a double boiler but how good is the Diana in terms of brew temperature coming out of the group handle? I can't find any info on how the group handle is heated - or not - to ensure the PID settings for brew temperature are maintained while pulling a shot? I am considering buying the Diana - or maybe the Elizabeth - but would appreciate your opinions/thoughts on the above question. Thanks
The Diana and Elizabeth are double boilers in the lower end of the double boiler price spectrum, which starts at about $1200 and goes up to $8,400. With the PID sensor measuring temp at the boiler, it is normal for the PID display reading to dip in temperature during the extraction cycle. This is why the heating element will usually kick on to try and maintain the temperature. How fast or slow depends on external several variables. The portafilter handle gets heated while it is seated in the grouphead. The nice part about the Lelit is that boiler and its water is situated right above the grouphead, thus creating a faster warm up and better stability over a boiler off center from the grouphead.
Hi, Thanks so much 1st Line for replying. So, lastly, am I right to say that on the Diana & Elizabeth, neither of them have have additional heating for the grouphead - its just the water flowing through it that heats it up? I am weighing up between the Diana and the Bezzera BZ10 (which I know is a single boiler heat exchanger machine) - your comments between these machines? :)
@big5astra what did you go for? i am trying to decide between those, too. PID is really nice, especially for bean hopping, but I would get a 200€ discount on the BZ10...
"The New PL162 Bianca: a wonderful upgrade all around! Check out our first impressions!" ??? А в вообще, спасибо за обзор :) Интересная машинка, заказал себе такую. Определенно конкурент для PROFITEC Pro300, а на мой взгляд более сбалансированная по внешнему виду и функциям машина.
hey there! this is direct from Lelit. Hope this helps! "On the PL92T, the user can program a different pre-infusion times for each coffee button. Pre-Infusion 1- Xx sec. (for button 1) Pre-Infusion 2 -Xx sec. (for button 2) So, when you press the coffee button 1 or 2, the 2way solenoid valve and the group solenoid valve will open, for the pre-infusion time programmed. The 2 way solenoid valve, is hydraulically connected between the steam boiler and the coffee boiler. When it opens, allows the passage of the water from the steam boiler in the coffee boiler, a water mixing occurs into the boiler, and the puck is gently pre-wetted with a low pressure 3/4bar max. During this process the pump is OFF. Once the pre-infusion time is over, the pump will be activated, and will start the coffee brewing in the cup at full pressure. Attached you will find a schematic hydraulic circuit of the PL92T machine."
Hey Juan! We just got word from Lelit that the current version will in fact have the cool touch wand. The Elizabeth in the video is from their first prototype run. We're looking to see the final product HOPEFULLY in September!
definitely an interesting machine for home users
Brilliant honest presenter... well done!

Just beautiful, the machine too.
There is a hole in the top of the water tank for fitting water filters. Please tell, what size is this hole?. Thanks for the great vid.
What is the expected price. Any update on the release date? Looks interesting, on my short list.
Any idea when the in depth review is coming? Thanks!

very quick and good explanation - thank you :-) the elisabeth is great ,

Does it have an adjustable opv?
How long it take to heat it up? 15 20 min?
5 min for the caffe. 12 min for the latte art...

Can you control preinfusion lenght and pressure of the pump during preinfusion with this machine?

Thank you this is super useful! SO basically you can set the pre infusion as long as you want and within that 3/4 bar pressure. Sweet!
@@frankypc no its not as long as you want, it is max 20 seconds
Very nice.
I just got the Delonghi EC685. Wish I had seen the Lelit before having bought it. Plus I hate those plasticky milk frother sputs.
Wish you had seen it too! :p
Needs antiburn wand.

1st-line Equipment oh nice to know! Thanks!!
