I had the doona my baby hated it. She wouldn’t stop crying. The position is very upright. And it’s not roomy enough. I got the Evenflo dual ride gold. She loves it!!!! She falls asleep while in the car instead of crying!!!!!
I look for something like the City Select by Baby Jogger, Uppababy Vista, maybe Mockingbird where you can take the seats on and off and do backwards and forward with the seats. I know there are cheaper ones just like that now. Then you would have a separate frame that you'd toss in the trunk.
They’re not a strollers, they’re car seats…the wheels are only to move baby from car to inside. Baby shouldn’t be in these all day as you would use a stroller. Same as any other infant car seat, babies should only be in them during car rides, not pushes around on a stroller base.
@@LegendaryDeGreat wait but for younger babies you're REQUIRED to use a car seat and attach it to a stroller if you wanna use a stroller (until they can sit up by themselves) so whats the difference?
@@leasielou no, you should use a bassinet stroller so baby can lay flat. Strollers that recline completely flat are also an option. You should not use a car seat outside of riding in the car 🫶 *(referring to a baby that cannot sit up unassisted)
@@leasielou Actually, you should be using a bassinet stroller, not a car seat attachment until 3 to 6 months old, especially if they are sleeping in the stroller.
Which one of these are you leaning towards?
Just bought the Evenflo today. Thanks for the video. This helped a lot with my decision.

there is a lower place for older toddler to rest their feet after they outgrow the add on one.
I was getting the Dona now I don’t like either
So the Doona's advantages are first mover and lighter?
Do you have any idea for the strollers for twins of the brand doona?
I don't, but I have seen parents use two Doonas and hook them together. Not sure how though.

@@analyticalchick3064 you would still need car seats! The nice thing about those strollers are the seats can face toward you or away!
I never moved my handle to carrier mode for my Doona.
Yeah...I eventually started doing that too. It is just easier!
How much does the evenflo carrier itself weigh without the wheels attached?
11 pounds
I don’t like either one of them because it doesn’t have any storage on the bottom

@@LegendaryDeGreatthe brand tittle say Evenflo Gold Shyft Dualride With Carryall Storage Car Seat & Stroller,
Could you share how much your baby weighed at birth? I heard you say 13th percentile. Mine is 10th right now and we are worried. Thanks!
Have you tried the new improved, Doona X?
Not yet! It’s not in the US yet. They said it should be in the next 8-12 months.
Doona is not approved in Canada, the evenflo is!
My evenflo wheels don't fold anymore
How long did you have it?
@yasmincook9975 for a few months my daughter was born April 6 of this year
I have experienced the same issue my wheels get stuck when needing to close.
@adrianaalcaraz9421 and I only had it for 3 months my last daughter is 3 months now I might have to get a new stroller
Same issue. Had to return mine because the wheels were getting stuck. Now im debating on if I should get the Evenflo or stay with the Doona
