We thought about getting the Brezza, but decided not to as the mayor hazel with bottles is cleaning and sterilizing them - mixing powder and water takes two seconds. We have bottles prefilled with powder on our bedside table and water in bottle. When the baby wakes up, we just fill with water to the mark and give a little shake. Will be checking out the Doona though.

I want to like the Doona for as much as we travel and have family all over the country, but it scores SOOO LOW in safety. If we did splurge, it would be for travel only. Which doesn't make the price that worth it bc we would get a 2nd car seat and stroller.

  • @jennyjohnson5428

I was going to buy the Doona to accommodate my ongoing & almost debilitating post-viral fatigue, but when I had almost decided to buy it I tried lifting it to car seat height with an 8lb 'payload' & found that this seat is no accomodation at all. The heft of it is significant well before you add the maximum-weight baby. It does seem great for healthy young travelers & urban types & people who hop from car to Uber, etc.

Baby Brezza experience: our newborn stopped drinking the formula from the first bottle made with this. I researched and found many claims that this product simply wasn’t mixing formula properly and many babies were diagnosed as failing to thrive. Luckily we caught it early and went back to manually mixing although we still use the unit for warming and dispensing water. We’re transitioning back to pre made liquid formula despite the price.

As someone who's not in the USA, when talking about Baby Brezza, please make sure to mention it might not be a viable option in other countries. In the UK, formula is not sterile but is sterilised by using boiling water during preparation. Baby Brezza doesn't use boiling water so it doesn't sterilise the formula which is quite dangerous. (And it's being sold here as well!) There are alternative formula machines that use a hot shot and then add cold water after the powder is sterilised, like the tommee tippee one.

Love your channel! But I would call out a warning on the Brezza machine. All my friends stopped using theirs and pediatricians are starting to recommend against them because they frequently fail to mix formula correctly. We bought the donkey 5 but so far dad and I both feel it is bulky and we can’t figure out how to quickly load it in and out of car 🤦🏽‍♀️ maybe we need more practice. Newborn is 21 days and our oldest is 2. We’ve gone out 2x where we’ve needed the double stroller and we felt so stressed lol

So many videos and no one will actually say what is the best. They just plug every brand equally which are pointless reviews.

Why do you cover only the high end and expensive stuff? Why not any reviews on Evenflo, Graco, BabyTrend? Please make more videos that don’t financially scare away your viewers.

This video is a splurge list, meaning for more expensive products

He’s got plenty of videos on non expensive products, just not this one… he did a whole $1500 baby budget video. Even in his videos about more expensive products he often comments on how they compare to more affordable versions.

Please reconsider promoting kyte baby and substitute a different premium sleep sack. The company should not be supported after how they treated an employee who had an adopted NICU baby, the company refuses to address the situation, and with so many options on the market this type of behavior should not be rewarded with sales. Love your videos, but please reconsider promoting them!
