Thank you for sharing this. I have a Symphony ST200 now and I am happy with it. I did not imagine that it could be such a "touring" scooter! Thank you also for making us know the roads of Romania , so nice mountain roads and fields and landscape. Love your channel!
2 years late for the ride and out of video sequence, no matter, it was still great to see! Will catch up on all your videos in time. Really like the safety tips for all of us, (especially when entering pavement after being on dirt / muddy roads). Your minimalist approach for the average rider, (no matter where they are on the planet), is inspiring! Being a life long tenter, enjoying life with what you have “is” the adventure, good for you!!! Thank you for showing us these beautiful places in your country. The mountain region and roads are interesting. We have places similar to these in Brazil. The roads preferred by motorcyclists are: Rastro da Serpente and Rio do Rastro, both with fantastic landscapes. If you're curious, search for the names on RUclips.
Very good video! I have place a bet that i can travel on the previous model sym st 200i (2019) for 400km? I appreciate your opinion. Will it be difficult? Thank you and keep on with this good job bro.
@@RideWithAlex I just met your channel so I didn't know and I'm enjoying watching your videos. I might consider buying the SYM 200 as an alternative to the Piaggio Medley 150. The Medley looks ok, I live in Australia but I really hate the only two dealers in my state, they are rude and unprofessional same as the national distributor Peter Stevens so that is the reason I'm looking at the SYM. I love its air cooling system and, like you said it's more reliable and less troubled and the scooter is cheaper to service. You're a hero!
Hi, I like your videos. Can you add a maps so we'll be able to use it for traveling in Romenia? Two years ago I rode 7c to transfagarasan. It was amazing!
To ask you something more. Are you satisfy whith the LED lights? On the open roads at night? Can you make video about that? Low and high beam, in the city and at the open road?
The front light is just awesome, on high beam I can ride at 80-90km/h on the open road and see far enough in front that I can come to a complete stop in case of danger. Unfortunately I can't really show this on camera because the GoPro is terrible in low light and my phone is not great also and I don't have the money for a big expensive camera that I could use to show this. You will have to take my word on this the led light is awesome, and the fact that it has at least 15.000 hours of burn time before it might fail means I am probably go over 100.000 km before the front light burns out :D
Mechanically it's identical to the ST so the engine and transmission will handle the trip the same. I don't know about the comfort I haven't ridden a jet14 long distance. But it should be comfortable with the added leg room.
How much is your mileage as of today on your ST200? And what technical issues did you have, if any? I bought an ST125 (2021) a week ago and I already did 140km on it. Everything works perfectly.
I want to buy this bike just whith the 125 lc engine. Do you recomand it? I think that it is going to be ok also at the mountains road, what do you think? On your video aceleration was mutch slower than yours, but maybe it was the new bike, not driven enough to make full power, or becouse of the wind?
The 125 I tested had 1100km, so it was broken in. If you can only get the 125lc it will work just fine on the same roads, just a little bit less power up the hills.
Thanks for answer. Your chanel is very good. Becouse of you I decided to buy Sym Symphony ST. Here in Montenegro it is more than 1.000 € cheaper than Piaggio Medley (both 125cc LC) so I think it is the best valye for money. It is also cheaper than Kymco People S 150i.
