I have it on my condo lanai in FL. The table has a pot of flowers, a beautiful hand painted large art piece, wine bottles and glasses. All in seaside blue. Just home from a stroke and this paradise. Come over and have a glass of wine and watch the sunset with me and listen to jazz...

Words cannot express the loss I’ve had this year. My best friend who I served in the Navy with is no longer upon us. Him and I were inseparable I love and miss him. @@jaseronsko876 I can't speak for current NYC as of November 2022. But when me and my wife went in 2012. It was superb. Great food, night life, music, and culture everywhere. Idk if that's the current climate in 2022 NYC, but that is definitely what NYC is supposed to be.

I'm from Australia, and I went to NYC in 2014 and 2015, stayed with a relative who lives there in a small apartment, I really enjoyed the atmosphere of it all. Central Park, the museums, cafes, bars, the NYC people treated me very well. I really enjoyed Central Park at the start of fall. Hopefully NYC and the rest of the world can get back to its normal self eventually.

My dad's friend owns a jazz bar, and the music is amazing. This sounds like exactly something the band would play- one time I even got to perform “I’m beginning to see the light”, “fly me to the moon” and many others with a sax player, a trumpet player, a pianist, a drummer, and a bassist. It was probably one of the best experiences in my life. Jazz has a way of making you feel like you're on top of the world. Love the compilation and hope the 1% reading this has a great day

As a New Yorker, I can say this kind of music in a authentic Italian/Pizza joint is the best. Even better when the sun has set and you're having a cannoli and coffee.
This playlist is literally the epitome of a walk in Central Park on a cool summer evening. Or enjoying some "me" time in a coffee bar in Greenwich Village. This picture captures the essence of serenity in the city that never sleeps. Blessed to have been able to have grown up in this beautiful place.

I'm in my cosy room at the drawing desk, sipping my coffee. Quiet afternoon. Just next to me is a glass door. An exit to a balcony. Behind it is a grey, rainy, busy street, down below. I can hear the hum of cars on a wet road. What a lovely Saturday with this music in the background.
There's a store where I live called Von Maur, they always got pianist's playing in the store. This music makes me feel like I am walking through that very store. Just dressed in a nice dress, trench coat and wide brimmed feather hat. I stop to try the perfume samples, take a moment to listen to the music and I go on my merry way.
I just don't get why so many people do not love Jazz music. This is a comfort to relaxation & ease of mind, taking you to a different dimension where you really need to be.
It's okay to want to listen to other music. Its just personal preference.

I disagree. I think the mini new york is Barcelona. If you think about it, it is more aligned, has a coast like New York does, and is like if you lived in Madrid but with a coast. It is just much better. No hate, madrid is still very good.
I love dancing. I picture my husband and I dressed for a gala night out, a live jazz band playing and us dancing the night away in a beautiful ballroom. Then we walk home hand in hand and once home, we continue with this beautiful music playing in the background in front of the fireplace.

Also with everything that happened this year, this is the only thing that helps me feel happy and at peace. There’s probably so many people losing lives and losing those they love to this terrible curse that has came upon the world. Though the world has always been sick. People not caring for one another, yelling at each each other, fighting, people being selfish, and so many sick minds that are probably begging for help. I say this to any and everybody who reads this.
Don’t lose hope, and keep going. If you need to cry, do it. If you’re feeling like nobody cares pray. Please, never give up and if you want to listen to this music. I’m sure it will heal your heating heart. Stay strong, keep going, and NEVER give up.

I don't really think about "classy" when I think of jazz like this. I think of my youth when my father would wake me up early to go fishing in Buffalo, NY for walleye. We'd sometimes pull right up to the old factories/warehouses near Buffalo Canal, and sit there fishing off what I'd imagine was old boats/machinery in the water. Seeing the sun slowly rising up and glistening off the nearby windows, whether those were shattered or still intact. It felt... Right. Like you were inna place you were meant to be at.
During winter I love grabbing a good book ..especially a love story which takes place in New York. This playlist is my go to. Brilliant!
I don't know if you can really beat laid-back jazz music like this when it comes to listening to complete relaxation tbh. It's complete music of by itself and it is it's own genre of music loved by all people worldwide. I'm just glad I came to like it very much.
