Owning a luxury loft is already hard enough. Id rather watch the sun burn a few people from my window, while sipping coffe after having lunch, just arrived from work at mid day.
A rainy night, your children are already sleeping and your wife is watching her favourite show. You sit on the sofa and loosen your tie while you are pouring a glass of your favourite whiskey. You light up one of the fine Cuban cigars your best friend gave you and you pause to listen the jazz music that plays on the radio as you watch the drops of rain crash on the glass of your window. Even if for a few minutes,you are the king of the world.

My dad's friend owns a jazz bar, and the music is amazing. This sounds like exactly something the band would play- one time I even got to perform “I’m beginning to see the light”, “fly me to the moon” and many others with a sax player, a trumpet player, a pianist, a drummer, and a bassist. It was probably one of the best experiences in my life. Jazz has a way of making you feel like you're on top of the world. Imagine being at New York, walking through the cold snowy night, watching everyone having a good time and seeing all the lights from the buildings. You get a feeling that this is a wonderland in your body, you keep walking passing the book shops and other stores and finally arrive at a cafe. Sometimes we expect so much of ourselves to a point where the ego feels it needs to be the best, and when you realize you aren't to your potential yet you may find yourself with an even more influenced ego, but this time aimed at yourself with mostly negative thoughts. Try to focus on where you are now, and how you can improve it. Don't let your expectations be your future, let it be a piece of influential motivation. I will turn 130 years old in a week. Still listening to this jazz in my coffin where my son promised to keep playing these tracks on a gramophone for as long as the world lives. I was in Boston last night. In a cozy, quiet, and dimly lit hotel bar/lounge with a seat right next to a large window. It was raining. Similar music was playing. My wife and i watched the lights and people walk by with their umbrellas. We enjoyed some small plates and put away 4 cocktails each. Vodka martinis and whiskey sours. We didnt want the night to end!

But whenever I don't feel well I need something heavy (eg Metal), so I get what you're saying. If it was late evening/ night in a big city and if I was under the influence of some Whiskey 24/7 I could easily bare this for the rest of my life

I remember going to a live music event with my grandfather when I was younger. It was a small venue, with maybe 50 people in the audience. But the energy in the room was incredible. The band was playing an old jazz number, and I'll never forget the way the sax player hit those high notes. I was mesmerized. After the set, my grandfather introduced me to the band's piano player. To my surprise, he let me sit down at the piano and play a few notes. I was terrible, but he smiled and encouraged me to keep practicing. From that moment on, I fell in love with jazz music. Over the years, my grandfather and I attended countless jazz shows together, and I even started playing piano in a local big band. Jazz has brought so much joy and connection to my life, and I will always cherish those memories with my grandfather.
OMG this reminds me of when I was younger and played the clarinet. My great grandma took me to a show with a jazz band that had a clarinet. I look back fondly, thinking about how much effort she put into connecting with me and my interests. *sigh* I miss her so much ♥

I can only think of thanking GOD for this music. This is relaxing music that makes you appreciate life, love and those who you care for. I remember my dad driving me to school, hearing this music in his new Ford Galaxy 500, the nicest and fanciest car I´ve never seen again. Thank you people for sharing these classics.

Imagine... ...sitting in an old coffee shop at a window seat with a flufffy ground. It's cold outside because of the daily rain and snow but the stone furnace warms up the local. Your long 80 style's coat is hanging on a wooden hook and you're drinking a black tea with a stick of cinner. ...and a small band is playing jazz music all around the time. You're sitting and reading some Newspapers And then. You see your date coming from out there. My dad was a jazz drummer in the early sixties. He had a band called the JV Trio. I was exposed to this music as a child and listening to this transports me back to the days when my dad would play it on his turntable. Thanks for the memories.

11:00 pm, it's 37 degrees, New York. Your at a nice casino gambling with strangers, having a warm and nice feeling inside of you, great music and great people. You win, you get a taxi to a cafe, order your coffee, still having that warm safe feeling inside of you and as you finish your coffee you walk home to your apartment. You finally get to your apartment at the top of the building, the last floor, you look out your window, see all the lights and think of all the people smiling and having a well time. You get in bed, listen to the calming music you heard from the casino and cafe and close your eyes as you fall into a deep sleep. What a beautiful night...

As soon as all this pandemic stuff is over, plan a trip. There’s so much to do. Museums, tours, world markets, broadway shows. Just don’t drive there. Turns out driving halfway across the entire country isn’t very fun. Very beautiful though. Lots of mountains and open plains. Saw other cities I thought I’d never see. Driving into the city was probably one the most surreal things I’ve ever experienced. Old neighborhoods, churches, the smaller parts of town. Then you get on one of the bridges and you see everything for miles. That group shot in the first avengers movie-I got stand where they stood. Very cool. Amazing food. Chinese, Korean, Jamaican. Had the best Pork and noodles I’ve ever tried. Cheesesteaks are steaming with meat, cheese, and onions pour outta the side. Whatever food you can think, I bet you could find it. People play jazz on the streets, in Central Park, in the subways. The city truly does not sleep. I was walking with my group and people were everywhere, it’s raining softly and everybody having a good time and looking up at the buildings. I look at my phone and it’s 1:30 in the morning. Standing on top of the Empire State Building is something everybody has gotta experience at least once. Fast food places have time limits for how long you can be there. Since the city is so populated, you go in, you eat, and you leave. This all is from just Manhattan, and I bet I’ve barely scraped the bottom of the barrel. I met a super honest guy who asked me for some change so he buy some drugs. I appreciated the honesty, but said no. Super interesting people. Cabs are about how I expected them. Some drivers couldn’t hate you more, some have really interesting stories and tell you about the city. Subways are actually not as bad as movies make them out to be. The trains are loud, but the people are quiet. I actually got sit on the subway once out the entire week I was there. Make sure you have something to hold on too if you’re not sitting, cuz you will fall down. I didn’t have a single negative experience while I was there. I think the only negative thing I experienced was my friend getting shit on by a pigeon.
NYC was a great place... Currently sitting on my Manhattan balcony listening to this, but it feels sort of sad because the city is sort of a ghost town. It is slowly coming back though.

It's a cold winter day in downtown New York, and you are just getting off of work around 5 and the sun is slowly starting to set behind the snow clouds. You see people flooding the busy intersections and crosswalks trying to make their way home before the snow starts to fall. As you walk by all of the shops closing for the day you notice something that catches your eye across the street. You quickly make your way over to the quaint little coffee shop that seems to be a hole in the wall. There's an older gentleman maybe around 60 behind the counter and he asks you you order and you give it to him and pay for your coffee. He calls your name and you grab your drink and sit by the window and enjoy the sound of the old man cleaning and the jazz band in the background. You sigh and sip your drink and begin to smile as you realize that you're doing just fine on this cold New York night.
Nothing like listening to jazz in NYC. I used to walk along West 52nd St. past all the music places and hear music as I passed each shop. It was so wonderful.

Honestly I'm 16 years old I just discovered jazz for my self and I could never think its such a good and soft music which just makes me feel different to anything else everything is easy no words can explain it.
Yeah I can understand what you're saying, I kinda feel the same, I'm 18 and listening to some jazz music is for me a privilege because 1% of people of our age are listening some jazz, so it's kinda like a little treasure. Internet is the only way I have access to this amazing music. There are a couple of cafés here in Guatemala where you can go and have a good cup of coffee while you listen to this amazing music. I wish radio stations would play Jazz more often.

I live in Morocco and I listen to this everyday when I’m heading home. Everything fades away every time I put my earphones on and walk towards the bus station. The 1 hour trip becomes a wonderful journey that everything around “blossoms” though the harsh reality of my society. It took me some minutes to write this comment because I had to stop several times and just listen to the beauty of Jazz. Am I really Moroccan?? I feel like this music amazingly connects me to another world. Please bring more Jazz concerts to Morocco ♥️☮️

so.... i have this weird thing that happens to me. to any song, i can close my eyes and feel the song and let it take me away to places i have never been. so much so i can feel the wind, hear the hustle of everyone or everything around me. i can smell the smells... but this...this took me farther than before. thank you.

My dad's friend owns a jazz bar, and the music is amazing. This sounds like exactly something the band would play- one time I even got to perform “I’m beginning to see the light”, “fly me to the moon” and many others with a sax player, a trumpet player, a pianist, a drummer, and a bassist. It was probably one of the best experiences in my life. Jazz has a way of making you feel like you're on top of the world. Love the compilation and hope the 1% reading this has a great day

I was in Boston last night. In a cozy, quiet, and dimly lit hotel bar/lounge with a seat right next to a large window. It was raining. Similar music was playing. My wife and i watched the lights and people walk by with their umbrellas. We enjoyed some small plates and put away 4 cocktails each. Vodka martinis and whiskey sours. We didnt want the night to end!

I remember going to a live music event with my grandfather when I was younger. It was a small venue, with maybe 50 people in the audience. But the energy in the room was incredible. The band was playing an old jazz number, and I'll never forget the way the sax player hit those high notes. I was mesmerized. After the set, my grandfather introduced me to the band's piano player. To my surprise, he let me sit down at the piano and play a few notes. I was terrible, but he smiled and encouraged me to keep practicing. From that moment on, I fell in love with jazz music. Over the years, my grandfather and I attended countless jazz shows together, and I even started playing piano in a local big band. Jazz has brought so much joy and connection to my life, and I will always cherish those memories with my grandfather.

As soon as all this pandemic stuff is over, plan a trip. There’s so much to do. Museums, tours, world markets, broadway shows. Just don’t drive there. Turns out driving halfway across the entire country isn’t very fun. Very beautiful though. Lots of mountains and open plains. Saw other cities I thought I’d never see. Driving into the city was probably one the most surreal things I’ve ever experienced. Old neighborhoods, churches, the smaller parts of town. Then you get on one of the bridges and you see everything for miles. That group shot in the first avengers movie-I got stand where they stood. Very cool. Amazing food. Chinese, Korean, Jamaican. Had the best Pork and noodles I’ve ever tried. Cheesesteaks are steaming with meat, cheese, and onions pour outta the side. Whatever food you can think, I bet you could find it. People play jazz on the streets, in Central Park, in the subways. The city truly does not sleep. I was walking with my group and people were everywhere, it’s raining softly and everybody having a good time and looking up at the buildings. I look at my phone and it’s 1:30 in the morning. Standing on top of the Empire State Building is something everybody has gotta experience at least once. Fast food places have time limits for how long you can be there. Since the city is so populated, you go in, you eat, and you leave. This all is from just Manhattan, and I bet I’ve barely scraped the bottom of the barrel. I met a super honest guy who asked me for some change so he buy some drugs. I appreciated the honesty, but said no. Super interesting people. Cabs are about how I expected them. Some drivers couldn’t hate you more, some have really interesting stories and tell you about the city.
Subways are actually not as bad as movies make them out to be. The trains are loud, but the people are quiet. I actually got sit on the subway once out the entire week I was there. Make sure you have something to hold on too if you’re not sitting, cuz you will fall down. I didn’t have a single negative experience while I was there. I think the only negative thing I experienced was my friend getting shit on by a pigeon.
NYC was a great place... Currently sitting on my Manhattan balcony listening to this, but it feels sort of sad because the city is sort of a ghost town. It is slowly coming back though.

It's a cold winter day in downtown New York, and you are just getting off of work around 5 and the sun is slowly starting to set behind the snow clouds. You see people flooding the busy intersections and crosswalks trying to make their way home before the snow starts to fall. As you walk by all of the shops closing for the day you notice something that catches your eye across the street. You quickly make your way over to the quaint little coffee shop that seems to be a hole in the wall. There's an older gentleman maybe around 60 behind the counter and he asks you you order and you give it to him and pay for your coffee. He calls your name and you grab your drink and sit by the window and enjoy the sound of the old man cleaning and the jazz band in the background. You sigh and sip your drink and begin to smile as you realize that you're doing just fine on this cold New York night.

Honestly I'm 16 years old I just discovered jazz for my self and I could never think its such a good and soft music which just makes me feel different to anything else everything is easy no words can explain it.
Yeah I can understand what you're saying, I kinda feel the same, I'm 18 and listening to some jazz music is for me a privilege because 1% of people of our age are listening some jazz, so it's kinda like a little treasure. Internet is the only way I have access to this amazing music. There are a couple of cafés here in Guatemala where you can go and have a good cup of coffee while you listen to this amazing music. I wish radio stations would play Jazz more often.

I live in Morocco and I listen to this everyday when I’m heading home. Everything fades away every time I put my earphones on and walk towards the bus station. The 1 hour trip becomes a wonderful journey that everything around “blossoms” though the harsh reality of my society. It took me some minutes to write this comment because I had to stop several times and just listen to the beauty of Jazz.
