Hey love you videos mate. Could you make a video on tuning these remo djembes? Also I just picked up a used one and the guy says he hasn’t changed the head since he got it 11 years ago, about time for me to change I imagine? 😊

Hey, thanks 🙂 About tuning some Remos... I don't have any new ones and mine have been so tuned up over the years that my drum key simply cannot tune them any higher 😁
If a client of mine buys one and comes to a lesson, I'll try and get that drum to be the demo. I know lots of people would like to see how I tune a Remo, knowing that I keep on talking about them 😛
11 for your skin on a Remo is quite a lot, indeed. But if kept properly, I don't see a problem with that. I think my skin on the 14-inch Remo is at least 8 years old at this point.
