You should pay attention to the route you send your units through. They always end up clipping another unit in battle. If you have such a small army it shouldn't be an issue to have this in mind in my opinion.
Fyi, I think they said that in thrones, your general can't die in a fight until his bodyguard unit has taken 70% causalties.

I really like the realism in this game, not the best graphics, battles are realistic enough though. I like the lord management system, the public order issues seems realistic, managing a country with an occupation force. The vikings owned face in most of the early wars in England, this kinda shows this. I don't know, pretty cool game.
Pheonix Sheppard not the best graphics? It’s literally the latest release of a total war game, also they can’t have ridiculously good graphics with so much occurring on screen mostly because even top end pcs wouldn’t be able to handle it? I’m so confused as to how you can even bring graphics into the equation, the game was released last month hahahah
Ok... Lets face it... You have a lot of repeat character animations, some of the tower stuff is flawed, battle animations are repetitive, seige and naval stuff is goofy... This still barely distracts from a very beautiful game. It wasn't meant to be a total insult, it looks like a great game, just needs some bugs worked out.

always bugs me....friendly units moving through each other should Disrupt both units as should moving a unit through woods....and there should be no charging through woods
and units need to FAIL QUICKLY when they're engaged to the front and they get hit from the rear and/or flanks....I Hate how they just keep fighting on

Attacking while in shield wall is probably a bad idea, just let them come to you.
Does walking toggle it off? Because if the enemy does not have high mass/charge bonus the bracing won't be too crucial

unit names are not possible sadly. No units got superb renown/there were not real regiments at this time. A leader had so-and-so many men under him and commanded troops assigned to him or the ones he brought to battle.
aye dude you had me double face palming at the start of the new war you really really really need to read or learn about the Nine situations or better yet just study the art of war by sun tzu it will take your total war gaming to a new level implementing the teachings you learn in there please dont dismiss this you might as well add real battle tactics to your skills
