Great gameplay but my one piece of advice for this fight here: don’t use the whiplash, it only throws him off when he’s telegraphing his attacks and you make it harder on yourself. Respecting his parry windows made me much better at the boss than when I started
Been trying to beat him for a while now. I've P ranked Minos and I'm capable of destroying that guy, yet Sisyphus always feels like a bullshit fight. Upping the anti by getting rid of audio cues for telegraphing his attacks or by making him enter attacks and combos so fast you can't recover stamina doesn't feel rewarding when fighting him, it makes me feel like I'm just getting lucky whenever I manage to survive up until a point. There are times when I'll be dodging and parrying everything and then there's times when he's either spamming attacks and destroying me or just throwing me around the arena like a ball. I obviously still suck at this boss fight but compared to learning Minos and all the failed attempts up until I beat him (and then P ranked him) this is nowhere near as fun, with Minos I could always tell what I was doing wrong and I never had to google anything or have somebody tell me a strat in order to get better, I figured him out myself. Sisyphus feels a bit contradictory with his parry windows too aside from the crotch parry at the end of his 4-combo attack, everything else makes little sense to jump in in order to parry (and this video as well as others I've watched seem to agree that parrying his attacks isn't number 1 priority due to distance and the risk). I dunno man, I don't like his design, the changes from Minos' fight are starting to clash with the gameplay in speed and he feels way more restrictive as a result, which just isn't fun in a massive arena, it feels more like a chore for the satisfaction of completion.
